Game Week!

Well, we're a little more than 48 hours away from the start of the 2006 NFL season, and less than a week away from the REAL start of the 2006 NFL season, when the Vikings travel to Fed Ex Field in DC to take on the Redskins.

Over the course of this week, we'll take a look at this matchup from a few different angles.  We'll also be doing a sort of "exchange of information" with SBNation's Redskins' site, Hogs Haven.  We'll be doing something called "Five Questions," where the folks from HH will send me. . .get this. . .FIVE QUESTIONS about the Vikings and their chances in this week's game.  I'll also be sending them five questions about the Redskins and how they view this week's game.  The Q&A sessions will be posted on this blog, as well as HH.

(Here's a spoiler. . .HH thinks the Redskins are going to win on Monday night.  I think the Vikings are going to win on Monday night.  Oh, crap, I've already given too much away.)

I know we're not a big community quite yet, but I encourage all of you to head on over to HH and sign up for an account. . .and post some stuff for the upcoming week's game.  And try to remain at least semi-civil about it.  We're not Packer fans, after all.
