Vikings sign Herrera to 5-year Extension
The Vikings have signed right guard Anthony Herrera to a 5-year contract extension. You can read about it here
The Vikes sure are tying up a lot of money on a team that is not putting up W's. Hopefully, this pays off down the line. But when bad teams sign long-term contracts, it usually has terrible consequences because there's no financial room to sign people who can actually put up the wins.

Huh??
The O-line has improved since Herrera became a fulltime starter!
Locking him up NOW makes perfect sense especially given the fact that the Salary cap is rising, teams can now keep more of their own guys.
Great move by the Vikings, I'm totally lost as to where you are coming from.
