Bring Drew Bledsoe out of retirement
With the Vikings in need of help at the QB position (Jackson and Holcomb out with injuries), it's the perfect time for Childress to do what he failed to do in the offseason: lure Bledsoe out of retirement.

I'm surprised by how little attention has been paid to the fact that it took Bollinger to unleash Peterson. With Jackson spraying the ball all over the field in the first half and missing receivers right and left, Peterson could muster only 43 yds. When Bollinger came in and hit a couple of passes, the SD D had to respect the pass, if ever so slightly, and then BOOM -- record.
If a career 75.9 rated passer could do that, just think what a guy like Bledsoe could do. All of his shortcomings would be covered up in the Vikings offense (run, run, run, run, run, PASS, run, run) and the franchise would buy some time until they can acquire a legitimate QB.

Their main chance with a passing game
Why this team only runs 4 or 5 screens a game is yet another testament to Brad Childress's ability to be outcoached week after week.

I agree about Moore.
Vikings signed Koy Detmer (instead of Bledsoe) this week. Too bad Childress can't pull his head out of his Philadelphia.
