Pasquarelli's Defensive All-Pros

Guess who's missing?

If you clicked the link you undoubtedly noticed that the Williams brothers are left out.  I can't figure out how people can continue to ignore the pure dominance of our two big tackles.

You'd think that after dominating all last year they might get some attention as they continue to dominate this year.

BWHAHAHAHAHAHA!
Tommie Harris over either of the Williams boys.  What an absolute joke.  I'm guessing that Len had the defensive tackle portion of his article written during the pre-season when the Bears' defense was supposed to be good.

If Tommie Harris was any more overrated, he'd be Brian Urlacher.

Stats
I think the Williams tandem has been pretty dang good too, but a quick stat comparison shows Tommy Harris as having a much better year.  The problem, of course, is that there isn't really a stat that can accurately show how often the Williams boys took on multiple blockers, allowing EJ Henderson to stuff the run.

All that said, I'm also convinced that Kevin Williams is getting by on reputation a lot more this year than in the past.  His pass-rushing skills are non-existant.  I understand that he's getting double-teamed quite a bit, but that never stopped John Randle (or Tommy Harris) from getting to the quarterback.  Kevin Williams may not really belong on the All Defensive team this season.
