Vikings Sign WR
Well, just a few hours after I detailed how bad the 2007 free agency class of wide receivers is, the Vikings decided to sign a free agent wide receiver.
Last night, the Purple signed WR Bobby Wade, late of the Tennessee Titans to a 5-year, $15 million deal. Only $4 million of that $15 million is guaranteed.
Wade's stats are pretty much identical to what Kevin Curtis. . .allegedly the best WR in this year's free agent class. . .put up in 2006. So if it comes down to Wade for $15 million ($4 million guaranteed) or Curtis at twice the price (and 2.5 times as much guaranteed). . .well, bring on Bobby Wade.
More on this later on today.

Trust me dude
Or he'll come out opening came and run back a punt for a TD, then proceed to fumble the next 6. You want nothing to do with that guy.
You May Be Right
We don't need him to return punts or anything. . .we've already got one of the better PR guys. He might return kicks, if Childress doesn't decide to put Moore on that duty, too.
The FA WR class is just so pathetic, though. Really, this is about the best we could do at this point.
