Official Detroit Lions/Minnesota Vikings Injury Reports

Now, using the stuff that actually comes with my blog rather than spending an hour or so formatting tables, here are the official injury reports for tomorrow's contest.

Star-divide

Out (IR / Out / Suspended / Physically unvailable)

Player Injury Type Injury Date
Jon Bradley shoulder 8.19.2008
Stanley Wilson Achilles 8.11.2008
Teddy Lehman hamstring 8.10.2008
Dan Campbell hamstring 9.9.2008
Aveion Cason ankle 8.30.2008
Brian Calhoun undisclosed 8.30.2008
Reggie Ball knee 7.26.2008

It looks like we can expect, as Sean said in our Five Good Questions, to see Dan Orlovsky at quarterback for the Lions tomorrow.  Orlovsky looked. . .well, he looked pretty bad in the action he saw on Sunday against the Bears, I won't lie to you.  Here are his numbers:

vs CHI / 10.5.08 Passing Rushing
Comp Att Pct Yds TD Rush Yds Avg TD
Dan Orlovsky 13 23 56.5 97 0

97 yards on 13 completions.  Who does this guy think he is?  And those numbers, for some reason, don't include the interception he threw that was returned for a Chicago touchdown.  He "amassed" those numbers in about 1 2/3 quarters worth of work.

Whoever is behind center for Detroit should have both Roy Williams and Calvin Johnson at their disposal. . .physically, anyway.  From what I saw last week, Roy Williams' mental state should rightfully be in question.

Now, the injury report for the Vikings:

Injuries: Minnesota Vikings

Probable

Player Injury Type Injury Date
Vinny Ciurciu concussion 10.10.2008
Jim Kleinsasser foot 10.10.2008
John Sullivan knee 10.10.2008
Ray Edwards shoulder 10.10.2008

Questionable

Player Injury Type Injury Date
Benny Sapp hamstring 10.10.2008
Sidney Rice knee 10.10.2008
Bernard Berrian knee 10.10.2008
Erin Henderson concussion 10.10.2008

Doubtful

Player Injury Type Injury Date
Madieu Williams neck 10.10.2008

Out (IR / Out / Suspended / Physically unvailable)

Player Injury Type Injury Date
E.J. Henderson foot/toes 10.6.2008
Mike Jones undisclosed 8.11.2008
Heath Farwell knee 8.11.2008
Kenderick Allen wrist 8.19.2008
Jayme Mitchell knee 8.11.2008
Michael Boulware wrist 8.30.2008

Rice and Berrian are both on the injury list again, and it sure would be nice to see them both out there for this one.  Rice has been out for a couple of weeks, while Berrian has played through his injuries and actually played pretty well during the last two games, particularly on Monday night.

And there they are. . .all the bumps and bruises that need to be considered going into tomorrow.  Enjoy!

I dont know if its just me or…..I can barely see the “probable”, “questionable”, “doubtful”, “out” injury categories. Something you might want to look into.

I can´t

I just guess that probable is at the top, then questionable, doubtful and out at the bottom.
Considering that a bunch of the Viking players in the bottom category are on IR, seems like it makes sense.
