San Fran to fire Nolan.

http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=3654269

We should consider getting in on the race for a good coach early on. St. Louis changed coach and are now 2-0 and look very different from what they looked like 4 games ago.

I've liked Nolan, especially his suits; just extremely classy in my opinion. BUT he wasn't their answer and he had his chances. Sounds like a similar situation, minus sweet suits and a mustache

GET NOLAN TOMMORROW!

Ziggy ought to man up and hire Nolan about a minute after he sobers up enough to FIRE THE BALD MONKEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Nolan deserves to have some talent to coach and the Vikings have some. We ought to pounce on Nolan if he would even consider taking over another messed up franchise.

I would take

Nolan in a heartbeat over Childress.

I don’t think he was a bad coach just didn’t have a particularly good team. We do. We could atleast bring him in at some level.

Nolan is a joke. chilly is a joke somtimes. i would have take chilly regardless if you think nolan has nevered coached talent. the talent we had last year on offense last year wasnt great(besides peterson. I know) and we still finished 8-8. i dont think nolan has ever finished with a winning record. marty Schottenheimer is the only answer and make me the offensive coordinator

AP's record day, 296 in a single game.

Well

At this point anyone is better than Chilly, he just isn’t getting it done. I’d rather gamble with anyone, hell try and get Bobby Bowden, anyone!

This was exactly what I didn’t want to see happen if we fired Childress. Why would we bring in Nolan? He did absolutely nothing in SanFran. He never even finished with a winning record. I know Childress hasn’t either, but 8-8 is better than 4-12 by a long shot. I just don’t think it’s a good idea to bring in some other incompetant coach that’s been fired. With the exception of Kiffin. He didn’t seem so bad in Oakland. It was Davis that drove him out, he was doing well with that offense.

Childress needs to go, but when the time comes let’s be a little more selective than hiring the first might-be head coach available. Nolan for Childress = same shit were’re dealing with now.
