Around SBN: VIDEO: Austin Rivers' Buzzer Beater Finishes Off UNC

GB makes me want to vomit

I rather enjoyed the fact that the Packers lost again today.  I thought I would check out the replay on NFL.com and watch as Green bay got there arses handed to them by the Falcons (I know, I laugh when I think of the Falcons 2).  So there I am watching the 5 minute recap of the game, and I have got to tell you, if I did not know the outcome of the game, I would have sworn that GB was DESTROYING the Falcons through this game.  Anyone who watches the video without watching the final 4 seconds would probably think the same thing.  Why does it seem that nationally so many folks have such a raging hard on for this team?  Why does the bias seem to swing so far in there direction?  I know, I know, history, yada yada, blah frikin blah.  Whatever happened to being objective?  Shouldn't the league (NFL.com) present the game a little more fairly, and perhaps give the uhm, I don't know, winning team a little credit?

Seriously, I don't get it, can someone explain?

HA I KNOW!!!

I was reading a re-cap and they blamed the loss on injuries suffered in the secondary… How about the re-cap explains how the pack took it in the back door and got ran over all day long! A rookie QB managed a win in Green Bay! How is that not the most exciting re-cap of the season?! lol I hate GB…

If you think the media should be unbiased...

…welcome to the club. Here’s news for you, though: it’s ain’t gonna change.

(Just like in politics, but I won’t get into that here as I would waste about four hours of your time.)

But it would be fun

To watch others tear each other apart over petty little details on a football website.

Lovefest

The powers-that-be in broadcasting permanently love the Steelers, Packers, and Cowboys. Occasionally, another team gets their attention, like the Dolphins in the 70’s, Bears in mid-80’s, 49’ers in the late 80’s & 90’s, and Indianapolis the last few years (can we say Peyton Manning?).

Everyone else is second fiddle.
