Down to business... Week 6 Lions! Predictions?!
"It will be surprising if the Lions (0-4) don't stay in the basement of the division, because they might have trouble winning any time soon. The move to fire team president Matt Millen appears to be moot because of the mess he left behind in seven-plus seasons in charge.
Instead of chanting, "Fire Mil-len!" at Ford Field, the fans simply booed early and often before filling the aisles and heading for the exits early in the third quarter."
NFL.com continued to say...
Now, the focus has turned to the possible firing of Rod Marinelli, who is an NFC-worst 10-26 since becoming a head coach for the first time in 2006. "I don't look in the future," said Marinelli, who seemed beleaguered at his news conference. "I'm going to get up tomorrow and go to work."
It seems the lions are in a mess of trouble, playin the blame game and not getting things done right or at all... We're home next week and this game is shaping up to be one of our biggest games this season! Coming off last week I could see us getting up into the 40's! I know crazy talk but I'm feeling A.P is breakin loose! Frerotte is startin to look comfortable and berrian is setteling in! Our D is amazing and the lions... well... there the lions lol 0-4 says it all!

Please
Just score 2 offensive TDs in 1 half . Can that happen some time this year?

Here's my Lions fan friend's bold prediction:
“Farva, I am going come out and make a statement. The Lions will only lose to the Vikings by 1 point.”
I laughed and told him AllDayDiesel’s going for 150+ yards and 3 TDs. We better destroy the Lions. Although it is the Lions, and they pull out some random good games sometimes. But still. We should dominate.
I like Macdaddy’s prediction, but I say the Lions actually come to play for at least one quarter and hold us to 34 points. Just call me Debbie Downer. :)

Worrisome Game
The Vikes are heavy favorites, and historically, that’s not been such a good thing. I think the game could go either way;
1) Vikings 24, Lions 10
Score won’t be higher because Childress plays it too safe; the Vikes will manage their way through the game, doing just enough to win and no more.
2) Lions 21, Vikings 17
Lions will pull it out, offensively, and the Vikes will succumb to the ‘heavy favorite curse’, pulling defeat from the gaping jaws of victory once again.

I try not to think about the fact that the Lions pull out some really good games against good teams sometimes
Because thinking about losing to the Lions makes me sick.

AD doesnt put up huge numbers against teams he is supposed to.. example… chargers last year and the bears… against the saints last week.. he was supposed to run wild.. and he didnt.. even tho it was the lines fault at times… i did see some holes he could have ran thru.. but didnt.. dont get me wrong.. i love watchin peterson running wild.. but its weird that he doesnt against teams hes supposed to against

Even if A.P isn't A.P?...
What would have happened if A.P would have showed up against the saints?! OMG! But i think frerotte is coming into his own and Berrian is setting into our Offense… Our D is magnificant! I think this could be a nice A$$ kickin we can hand out next week?

if ap would have
showed up against the saints… they still would have talked bout bush’s “godly” game…. no matter what, all the espn commentators have no love for minny sports… its a proven fact… they’d rather talk bout how the saints blew the game then the vikings defense winning it… and thats a fact

He torched them for 112 yards and 2 scores last year. In one half. We had to pull him out. Right after coming back from an injury with that brace slowing him down.
I mean, Michael Turner had over a hundred yards on 6 carries at one point against the Lions. I’m pretty sure that A.D. is better than Michael Turner,

Damnit. Hit enter too soon. Didn’t they trade their DT to the Browns too? So their D-line isn’t as good as it was last season to boot.

this is looking good
is kitna even gonna play against us? last week they had some other qb in the 3rd quarter and needless to say he was retty much garbage. if they are staring him its gonna be fun. lions do worry me even if ther 0-11. just cause we are so soft against the pass and thats all they do is throw to there big bodied recievers. but thats if shitna starts. i think they will go with that new dog meat. jarred allen im disappointed you better have 3 sacks this game. if we hold them to 200 yards passing we will dominate. i hope gus throws a deep one to berrian over dwight smith. i hate that guy. 31-10 is the final.

We win BIG!
When I first saw that we were 13 point favorites, I had to rub my eyes and look again.
NO WAY, was my first thought.
Then I realized it was the Lions we’re playing and decided that 13 points isn’t that much.
Vikings 35
Lions 7
