Should we go for any of these guys?

Personally I think we should get Roy Williams. He burns us ALL the time. He's a good WR and we instantly are upgraded. I signed Chad Ocho Cinco in Madden and he caught 32 TD passes with Frerotte throwing. So get him or Williams. Seriously. We need a go to reciever. Berrian is fast, but his hands arent the most reliable. So yeah.

We put so much money into berrian we basically decided he’ll be our roy will’s and Chad Ocho cinco lol but that would be soooooooooooo bomb if we got 85! Dude’s a pimp!

at your Madden reference, but after further review, our offense could be improved if Bevell and Childress would spend an hour each day playing each other….throw in Leslie Frazier as each week’s opponent, and there is your game plan…

I wouldn’t mind getting Chad, but he’d have to leave his ego in Cincinnati. I mean, while I wouldn’t complain if he punched Childress in the locker room during half-time, I don’t want to hear about it either.

And, I guess, the Lions want the world for Williams. He’s a top-notch reciever, but they want 2 first rounders for him? Dream on. We could just sign him in the off season. I hope.

What is funny about Roy Will

Is that he himself stated he is worth a 3rd or 4th rounder to make it easier to trade him. Funny.

Yeah, they aren’t going to get their asking price. The guy is good, but he’s not worth two first rounders. And he clearly wants out of Detroit badly if he’s willing to lower his value like that. If we can get him for a third I’d say to pull the trigger.

Roy Williams

The Lions need 2 first round picks for him because at least half of theirs are busts: R Williams (great); Charles Rogers (bust); Calvin Johnson (good); Mike Williams (bust); Joey Harrington (bust).

hell yes we should try for roy williams. give them a second round pick and bring himto minney. i dont care for ocho, hes to much talk and has been in bad physical shape this whole season. williams seems more likely any ways cuz hes in the division. on another hand tony gonzalez is trying to get traded as well. if childress has a brain he will go after him.

Gonzalez wouldn’t sign here. He wants to win a ring. And, honestly, I don’t think he’d be worth what we give for him. He’s good, but how much longer is he going to be playing? Williams is still relatively young at the very least. And I’m sure he’d love to get to play against the team that’s wasted his career up to this point twice a season.
