Yes, with 27 different people battling it out every week, things are getting a bit interesting in the Daily Norseman Pick 'Em Pool over at Fun Office Pools.

Yours truly sits in second place in the pool with 55 points.  The only person I currently trail is crazyviking10, who has 58 points.  The strange thing. . .and one of the thing that makes the Fun Office Pools format so interesting. . .is that, to this point in the year, crazyviking10 and I have both posted identical 50-24 records with our picks.  But, he obviously cashed in on an upset or two someplace that I didn't, and that gave him the couple of points that he leads me by through the season's first five weeks.  By that same token, Trappist.Monk also has a 50-24 record, yet sits three points in back of me and six points behind crazyviking10 in a three-way tie for third place.

It's a pretty tight race at the top to this point. Hopefully the rest of the season will be this exciting, too!

Thanks to everyone that signed up to participate in the Pick 'Em pool.  We might even start a Survivor pool here after the Vikings' bye week or something. . .or before, I don't know.  I haven't decided yet.
