New Blog: Backing the Pack for NC State Fans!

Well Well well

The Packers have Released Defensive End Kabeer Baja Biamila

Heres the Story from The Strib

It’s been a busy couple of days in Green Bay. On Friday, the Packers surprised everyone by announcing they had signed quarterback Aaron Rodgers to a contract extension. Today, Green Bay cut defensive end Kabeer Gbaja-Biamila. The Vikings and Packers will meet a week from Sunday at the Metrodome.

Gbaja-Biamila is the Packers’ all-time leader in sacks with 74.5 and appeared in 124 games (74) starts) in nine seasons. The Packers needed to clear a roster spot so they could activate defensive tackle Justin Harrell from the physically-unable-to-perform list.

NOW

he could be the perfect bookend to our line opposite of Jared Allen, then we would by fare have the most dominant line in the nfl

?

Any ideas why they cut him?

The packers are idiots is not a valid answer, it is just stating the obvious.

What sign him now… i will pay for him i don’t care. Especially with the williams in question we need fire power. Oh and we play the pack in a week so lets get him and find out all we can about the enemy.

AP's record day, 296 in a single game.

If they let him go, his knee has some serious problems. If we do get him, don’t make it some huge contract he’ll never be able to play up to. I don’t think Edwards is bad though. It wouldn’t be too much of an upgrade I don’t think.

I'm also on the cautious side on this.

Plus I’m tired of Packers yelling at me because the Vikings “always pick up the Packer rejects.” (sharper, ferguson, longwell, etc)

In AP I trust
