While I agree it’s going to take 10 wins to make it to the playoffs, we have to really hope the Giants plow through everyone else remaining on their schedule so they are resting their starters. If the Giants play with Jacobs, Manning, and ol’ Plaxico, the Vikings would, in all likelyhood, get stomped. Especially if the Williams Bros. are out, say goodnight, because Brandon Jacobs is a beast.

Not to say we couldn’t upend the Giants, I just don’t see it happening. Hardest games left on the schedule are the Cardinals and Falcons, and assuming the Giants win out, I think you’ve got it spot on. It’s going to take 10 wins to make it, and we have a chance, I just don’t know if I see the Vikings as capable of winning the games we feel they “should” win. Jacksonville is a good team. The Lions always scare me. Chicago will be playing tough in prime time. Kurt Warner is playing insanely good. Matt Ryan is NOT playing like a rookie. The Giants are the defending champs and are playing as such.

It’s going to be VERY hard for this team to make it to the playoffs. Do we have a chance? Of course. I just hope we can overcome these terrible mistakes we seems to keep making. I’m hoping we got 10-6, but in all likelyhood, 8-8 is where we’ll end up. The Vikings are notorious for playing down to their opponents skill level, and my head sees them getting caught by at least one of these teams. My heart tells me they’ll rock the NFL’s world.
