McKinnie to Stand Trial March 16th
So say the folks at Access Vikings:
Vikings left tackle Bryant McKinnie is scheduled to stand trial March 16 on four charges he faces from a fight outside a Miami nightclub last February. The trial date was set today by a Florida judge, according to a Miami-Dade County website.
McKinnie, who was not required to attend today’s hearing, has pleaded not guilty to all the charges, including a felony for battery. McKinnie already has been punished by the league for the incident, drawing a four-game suspension to open the season for violating the league’s personal conduct policy.
However, I'm sure that regardless of the outcome of the actual trial, the league will suspend McKinnie for another four games, due to the fact that a) McKinnie plays for the Minnesota Vikings, and b) Roger Goodell is a joke of a commissioner, and that seems like the kind of thing he'd pull.

Out of curiosity,
Why do you dislike Roger Goodell so much?

McKinnie won't get suspended again.
Unless of course, he’s found guilty. Then who knows, he might get banned for life—from a game that encourages players beating each other up for 60 minutes—for beating someone up.
I really admire how Goodell has been cracking down on player behavior off the field, but the complete lack of consistency with his punishments is maddening. Remember kids, Mr. Goodell says doing coke in your car is A-OK, but don’t you dare take water pills or get provoked into a fight at a bar!

McKinnie Could Use Some Down Time
In the Yard, lifting with the brothers – with his butter butt he had better not drop any soap. If he was any slower this year he be going backwards. He’d get more holding penalties but he can’t catch them to hold. Least the good news ids he cannot get a false start.
No I’m not too disgusted with this year’s Viking Express!
