Vikes @ Jags - 5 things vikings need to do to win.

1. RUN! RUN! RUN! RUN!  The Jags have been terrible this year against the run and if we want to win, we need to use our strength against their weakness.

2. The Jags have a bad red-zone Defense.  With Sidney Rice back and running we need to exploit their weakness in the red zone.

3. Get to Garrard and rattle the SH*T out of him.  Don't let him get comfortable, they have a bad o-line and our defense should win this match-up.

4. STOP THEIR RUN.  Fred Taylor and Maurice Jones-Drew enough said!

5. Play the full 60 minutes and not only the first half!  Last week we came out of the half as if we already won the game, even though we were up by only seven!  We need to play solid in both halves and control the clock please! In the 2nd half last week we had one to many 3 and outs, stop the dumb plays like the sidney rice pass. . ( i know it worked against oakland last year.)

What happened to the Jags? they were such a solid and even dominant team last year, now here they are with virtually the same team and they can’t do anything right. Could it be Williamson? Just kidding.

Like most teams on our schedule, the Jags are beatable. It’s just which Vikings team will show up? And which Chili gameplan will show up?

Ehh. I would normally agree with your keys, but even if we played to these I can’t see this turning out how we picture it. I just keep thinking about the Saints game. That was supposed to be all about Peterson versus that terrible New Orleans run defense. And he got shut down pretty much.

My guess is that we can expect the same thing from him tomorrow. They’re going to key in on Peterson and wait for Gus to throw 4 picks to them.
