Around SBN: Cal RB Jahvid Best Seriously Injured, Carted Off Field

My stomach hurts!

from laughing so hard!!!!!!!

Tampering Ted Thompson couldn't shove Lord Favre out the door fast enough to get Rodgers under center! Favre takes over a 4 win team and has them competing for home field throughout the playoffs. Meanwhile, back in the land of kissing cousins, the team that Farve took to the verge of the SuperBowl just fell below .500 in one of the weakest divisions in the entire league with their 65 million dollar QB!

Now I think Rodgers actually is a pretty decent QB but seeing that stupid look on Tampering Ted's face while his team is getting destroyed on MNF was just awesome for me! All I heard from the packer fans this summer and fall was how they had the best QB in the division and that was good enough for them to go at least 11-5 because the drop off wouldn't be that big. They have a stud running game, and their defense is top 5 in the league!!!???? *omg my stomach is cramping now!!!!*

At least AJ Hawk is living up to all of his hype!

*bwahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!

Hehe

Was good to see GB fail with Rodgers at the Helm, hopefully they lose to Panthers next week also. And I am really glad Favres doing well with the jets,if only Detroit could get its first win playing GB.That would be priceless and would cause quite a few bellys to hurt at least till draft.

Its entirely possible. The Panthers don’t even really need to throw the ball too often, their RBs should be able to tear into the Packer’s defense with no troubles.

Brett Farve or Aaron Rodgers? umm.......

I hate the Pack as much as the next Vike fan but at least they have a QB with some promise. The entire Vickings organization needs to change it’s philosophy when it comes to the QB position. They need to get coaches in there that understad how to choose and develop a good QB.

we do need a quarterback more than any team…but we seem to be fine with gus. i have bashed gus a couple times but if we look at the records frerotte is winning the most out of any quarter back in our division. frerotteis 6-3, orton is 6-4, rodgers is 5-6, and then theres culpepper whos 0-2. So with that said its hard to say even if its not permanent we have the better quartercack sitUATION AND YOU’LL SEE THAT WHEN WE SMASH chicagHO. you could argue that frerotte makes more mistakes than these other qbs. but he is still making those 3-4 throws that we really need when we need it and thats how we have been winning. that and of course AP’s “Take no prisoners” running.

I think the wins come in spite of Frerotte. I mean, he’s a decent passer, but he can be a liability. Just look at those couple close games where we ended up losing after Gus had tossed 3 or 4 picks. I mean, he still has his arm and the recievers seem to catch his throws more, but the fact he’s 6-3 as a starter doesn’t have much to do with him. That’s just the defense and Peterson, pretty much. Or so it seems.

I would be inclined to agree.

They said the same thing about Tarvaris; he makes mistakes, but he makes enough plays to win. The Vikings had a winning record, something along the lines of 4-2 with him at the helm, but I tend to agree that it was in spite of the QB. While I like Gus, and he’s made some good plays, I still really wonder what this team would be like with a truly great quarterback.

Hell, how about an above average quarterback?

I’d settle for anything.

Bring on Matt Cassel.

Matt Cassel won’t be on the Vikings next season. I’m hoping the Eagles let McNabb go so we can take him. Even if its just for a season or two, the team is just a QB (and maybe a HC) away from being great. Plus, Childress should be able to finally show off his offensive expertise since he’ll have the QB he’s known for grooming, right?

i hope childress is long gone before next year.
