Getting off the Schnide

Green Bay Packers at Minnesota Vikings, Nov 9, 2008 12:00 PM CST

GREEN BAY PACKERS (4-4)
GAME #9 MINNESOTA VIKINGS (4-4)

@

Date: November 9, 2008 Location: Minneapolis, MN
Time: 12:00 P.M. CST Stadium: Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome
TV: FOX
DirecTV Ch. 710
Know Thy Enemy: Acme Packing Company
Gonzo's Prediction: Vikings 27, Packers 24
Final Score: Vikings 28, Packers 27

Not a lot of analysis to be had here.  Get pressure on Aaron Rodgers, get Adrian Peterson going (and tell me he's not due for an absolutely monster game), and for the love of God, beat these jagoffs.  If ol' Chili can't beat the Packers this time, there's a very good chance he won't get another opportunity.

Let's get it done, people.

SKOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL VIKINGS!!!!

Alright Chilly, seriously, it’s time to beat Green Bay
The bandwagon starts loading this afternoon…

A disgusting act

Apparently the game today is going to be called on Fox by. . .Joe Buck and Troy Aikman.

Again, simply a disgusting act by the people at Fox.

Every Viking fan worth their salt hates the pathetic little douchenozzle. . .if anyone has an online audio link to the game that actually works, feel free to share it here.

Inactives Today

Green Bay

G Allen Barbre
QB Brian Brohm (#3 QB)
LB Brandon Chillar
T Brent Giacomini
DE Jason Hunter
LB Danny Lansanah
CB Patrick Lee
RB Deshawn Wynn

Minnesota

QB John David Booty (#3 QB)
WR Robert Ferguson
DT Letroy Guion
LB Erin Henderson
T Marcus Johnson
CB Marcus McCauley
TE Garrett Mills
LB Dontarrious Thomas

Ferguson has, apparently, asked the team for his release. Again, we kept this guy over Martin Nance. I still don’t understand why.

And Kenechi Udeze will be on the field this afternoon for the pre-game coin toss. I believe this is his first time at the Metrodome since he underwent a bone marrow transplant for his leukemia back in July. Expect Fox to say absolutely nothing at all, as Udeze is a member of the Minnesota Vikings.

I was making reference

To the temper tantrum that Buck threw after the Moss mooning incident at Lambeau in ’04.

But I’d still appreciate a working audio link to the KFAN broadcast if anyone has one.

Our Offense

Has given up 17 points off of Turnovers this afternoon.

All Day and All Night have 197 yards between them

The rest of the Offense has 16 yards.

They’ve scored a total of 17 points

The 2 Safeties are all that has us leading

It appears that is more blessing than I had thought.

Good Luck, but with Chilly, It will take more than luck.

by the Dragon on Nov 9, 2008 2:28 PM CST reply actions

So, to summarize

Green Bay has 98 yards of offense.

We’ve sacked Aaron Rodgers five times.

Ryan Grant has 40 yards.

Greg Jennings has 30 yards.

And we’re losing.

That pretty much sums up the epic fail that is the Brad Childress era to this point.

Vikings' Drive

Peterson pretty much willed the Vikings downfield on that one.

69 yards in 7 plays, 3:34 off the clock.

Vikings 28, Packers 27, 2:22 left in the fourth quarter.

Now all the Vikings’ defense has to do is exactly what they’ve done all day so far.
