Oh, and big ups to the Metrodome sound guy
Apparently, either after Crosby missed the FG or after the kneeldown for Minnesota, the Metrodome was filled with the sounds of “Bang on Me Drum All Day,” which is the song that’s played at Lambeau Field after the Packers score a touchdown.
I’d like to shake that man’s hand.

A much needed win today. Adrian Peterson was amazing as usual and carried the team on his back. As much as I like Gus, my patience is getting thin. No excuse for all of those INT’s today. Where the hell was berrian all day? Man great win but off the skin of our teeth. I still take it with pride.

fantastic
The D did their jobs and ADRIAN got us a win. I’m still numb.
If you can get your hands on the ball you should be able to catch it no matter what!

A great victory
Our D gave up under 20 points, our offense looked solid save one position. AP looked great, the Defensive Line was more than dominant. I’m starting to feel optimistic right now. It’s a nice change.

Not only did they give up less than 20 points...
But they also held GB to just 1/11 on 3rd down conversions. That’s one of the biggest things that’s driven me nuts about the Vikings in years past, and they really did a hell of a job today.

I know we won...
We won…HOORAY!!!
The Packers stink…BOO!!!
Why do I feel so dirty after today? We ouplayed them, outclassed them, out-everythinged them. Yet once again, we needed a late play to beat a far inferior team. Why can’t Brad Childress EVER have a convincing win? There’s no plan, no organization, no coherent go forward plan for this team.
I’m happy we won. I know we are tied for first. Does anyone out there honestly believe we can compete in the playoffs? Sorry, I don’t mean to be a buzzkill, but for god’s sake, I have yet to see a professional win out of this clown.
He’s impressed me more in some losses than he ever has in a win, and that;s all that needs to be said. Congrats Chili…we won despite you again today. I’m so happy we’re in pole position for a first round playoff loss, and another year of your incompetence.

Well... again
This is another week where I don’t think it was Chili’s fault is was so close. He didn’t give up a punt return for a touchdown, and he certainly didn’t throw three interceptions.

Pathetic win. Total Domination of the Packers offense the entire game yet we only win by single point after each team traded missed field goals.
Gus really had an off day but a Win is a Win and I’m willing to give Gus some slack because being quarterback is a lot harder than being coach……..its a team game – Purple Jesus forgave Gus his sins and the Vikes entered Valhalla so all is good.
What should have went down: vikes win 31 -17 as I predicted but what really happened is 3 interceptions.
Neither team deserved to win this game but even Joe Buck and Troy Aikman agreed that the Vikes are the better team between us and the pack. Skol Vikings.

Win Despite Gus And Chilly
Gus is not the answer. His INTs were HORRIBLE. The catches the WRs did have were good catches, not good throws.
And Chilly – we will not go deep into playoffs with this clown. He displayed the prevent offense once again at the end of the first half. 4&7, Pack ball, ~2:30 left. Vikes let the clock wind down to the 2 minute warning. 1st play? SURPRISE! AP up the middle, and another 30 seconds tick off the clock. ZERO killer instinct with the scrub of a “coach.”
We won, and I’m stoked, no doubt, but this game should’ve been over by halftime.
The D looked pretty dang good. What a great sight to see, the Packer QB picking himself up off the turf after almost every play. Boo yah!
