PrintFor the past two years I've been feuding with my supervisor over who's got more wins the Jets or the Vikings in a single season. Last year, I won. The prize was a Viking jersey of my choosing. Naturally, I went with the #28 and wore it with pride. This year, so far, the Jets and the Vikings have the same number of wins. So what I'm asking is who should I make him buy me if I win the bet again for the second year in a row? You might laugh but I really would like a Frerotte jersey. But somehow I don't see him coming back for the purple next year. So I'm going to try and narrow it down to a few. Let me know who you guys think should I win the bet. I know there are 3 more games yet but by the time the Vikes win I'll have my order in already with the help of my Viking family. Here are some I've wanted. Just give me a name please.

The bet isn't the issue...
the cockiness, counting you eggs before they’ve hatched is where I took issue. Sorry if it wasn’t meant for me to comment, however you’ve misquoted yourself!
Allen For Sure...
The guy showed heart by coming back into the Lions game not knowing if his knee was gone or not. That’s old school. Allen would have been one of those guys playing in leather helmets or a Joe Kapp style quarterback with the single bar looking to run over defenders. He’s a Viking for sure.

Gift certificate
Get a gift certificate from the Vikes’ team shop so that you can use it sometime next summer when the Vikes get a free agent QB or draft a good QB(if any come out this year).

Thanks guys, keep up the posting. I’m really excited about possibly getting the new jersey. I want everyone to know that i’m not being cocky, just very, very confident. I got my first AP jersey due to this type of situation so i’m looking forward to this by the end of the season. Living in NY around JETS/Giant fans gets to me. Only because i’m subjected to watching them every week. But thanks to this site and all of the viking friends out there you guys are with me each and every sunday. Through good and bad. What a nation to be involved with. Thanks for you replies.
