Arizona gameday

Sunday is gameday and time for the invasion of purple here in AZ at University of Phoenix Stadium(The Big Toaster). Look for lots of purple in the stands as there is always a huge amount of Viking faithful that turn out whenever the Vikes come to town. In years past when the Vikes came to Arizona, it was almost like a MN home game but now times have changed. TJ will need to deal with noise and I hope the coaches have helped him with calling audibles at the line, it could be tough to hear.

The local sports writers in town have been writing about how the Cards have the advantage in this game on offense, defense and special teams. It's always funny to read how biased local writers can be towards the hometown team. Arizona is in a horrible division, and a majority of their wins have come against teams with loosing records. Seattle, San Fran, and St. Louis are all awful. So it's a little tough to judge just how powerful the Cards really are this year. They have beat up on some lowly teams, but against teams with winning records(Giants, Panthers, Eagles, and even the Jets) they have looked average and at times, downright bad.

So I don't give the Cards advantages in all parts of the game. Yes, they have a much better throwing game and 2 All Pro recievers. But if the Wall can get pressure on old man Warner, it won't be so easy for him to pick apart the Vike's LBs and DBs. Yes, I give the advantage to the Cards on special teams play....the Vike's coverage teams have been terrible this year on kickoffs and punts.

The Vikes have much more on the line and thus they should play a more motivated game(we would think and hope anyway). I see this game as a pretty close matchup, but the edge to the Vikes as I see both OL and DL as an advatage for MN. Open holes for AD on offense and get pressure on Warner on D and the Vikes should be in good shape at the end of the day and remain a game ahead of the Cubbies.

Go VIKES, the purple desert army will be here for you, loud and proud!

Hope to see you in all your glory!

Arizona has the worst run game in the NFL and with the willams’ and Allen Warner will be in for the game of his season. My only hope is that our PASS D can live up to the expectations. Warner will be strong via the air so lets hope he hits a few purple jerseys tomorrow.

T-Jack should have the confidence in his fans and teammates. Solid O line and he should be good. Watch for the corner blitz!!!

by no way shape or form am i underestimatingthe cards. there air atack don right scares me and as good as my boy winfield is he cannot cover boldin, fitzgerald, and even breaston on his on. and to be honest i dont like him on either fitzy, or boldin. fitz is to tall, and boldin is real physical. can griffin actually step up and do something because if not it is gonna be a long day. i am hoping for a big game from allen, because we need pressure and lots of it. with that said tho… i am a firm believer that this is a completely winnable game and our offense should be able to move the rock regardless of who is throwing the football. i am actually looking forward to watching t-jack move around a bit and possibly even break a long run. lets just hope he doesn’t start gong all sparatic like.

man fuck all that bull shit about the cards being able to over match us in the pass game. Did we not shut down Peyton Manning for the 1st 3 quarters. while most commentators will write us off because they think we’re going to get torched by the cards they fail to realize that the cards are gonna get torched by our dynamic run game. Watch Peterson step up for us and have a big game with 2 td’s and Shiancoe and one of our other recievers catch a td for TJack. I can picture this game going into overtime and hopefully we get the ball first. 31 28 Vikes

also i believe our running game will take its rightful place at number one now that tjack can get us a couple yards scrambling.

not to worry, there are no audibles on Chillie’s offense.

while Warners arm scares me, still the cards have weakness we can exploit, namely AP and Chester taylor, i can see both those guys crossing the century mark in this game, and if they do, it doesn’t matter how meny td we score or don’t score, after all warner will never touch the ball.
