Effect on Jared Allen
What might be the effect on Jared Allen without the Will Wall next door? I am pondering this question myself ...and a question came to mind that maybe someone out there can answer.
Who was on the D-line with Allen when he had 15 sacks last year in KC. If I cant name anyone then maybe the effect will be none.
Anybody care to steer me straight? I cant think of anyone who compares to the boys that was on KC with Allen.

When JA is on the field.
The opposing o-line doesn’t get into a stance, it bows for mercy before his greatness.

Pretty sure it's much harder to Double Team a Defensive End.
If anything, they’ll go ahead and drop one of their Guards back to pick him up and Evans/Wyms will end up getting a few sacks because they will have pretty much wide open spaces between point a and b.

ONE REASON 'THEY' WONT STOP HIM!
Jared Allen is too, and I mean TOO fast for these big, fat, slow O line men. He has found his outside rush that is amazing and when they did the twist last week, he slid right in. It’ll be too hard for teams to get 2 defenders out to where J.A goes cuz he makes a swooping line to the QB from the outside. His rush is just too fast… unless you pull a guard and have the QB step up lol =D

to be
quite honest with u.. i think he will be playing better because he knows that just about every viking fan thinks we are done because of this… not saying we are or we arent.. but i honestly think he will put up big numbers and put the D on his shoulders

This is our time to shine....makes victory sweeter
AT the time when JA led the league in sacks last year with KC his supporting cast included 8 yr exp. DT Alfonso Boon 8yr exp. Ron Edwards and Rookie Tamba Hali as the book end and rookie Tank Tyler DT. alternate sub..,,,This d- line mostly assembled thru free agency and rookies does not even come close to the talented defence vikings have. Remember KC only won 5 games that year. Also one of the wins that year was against us and Jared had a monster game. He will not let up and he will have another monster game because he sees this as challenge….or he will get bored……cant beat his first step off the line ,,,now its their move …..go vikes
