Around SBN: Miikka Kiprusoff Wins 300th Game, Buffalo Crushes Boston

Suck it up and move the hell on!!!

Today we lost.  That's for sure and whether we complain about our QB's, RB's or Secondary it was a flaw by the team as a whole.  We can blame anyone but that won't change what happened today now will it?  We beat ourselves.   Matt Ryan didn't impress me, nor did Turner.  We fumbled the ball over and over and we failed to pounce on a fumbled Falcon ball in the endzone and quite frankly the defense forgot how to tackle.  Yet, we sit here and talk about benching everyone.  Bullshit...

This is what the Vikings do in a situation like this.  This is what has haunted this franchise for decades and this is why most fans can't sleep in december.  We need to just win next week and we are in.  If we don't win we simply shouldn't be in the playoffs anyway.  Today's game was a heart breaker and all we can do is blame this one and that one.  Peterson, had a horrible game but so what.  He'll come back and claim his throne again.  It's not the end of the road.  And he'll fumble again, I'm certain of that.  This is something he'll have to work on himself.  It's his problem, he needs to work it out.

I'd hate to see what some of us would do in the Owners shoes.  We would've had three different Coaches and ten different QB's by now in just this one season.  Let's just hold our damn breath and wait it out.  Crying makes us look like a bunch of Packer or Bear fans.  Vikings never cry, they continue to battle, even if the battle is lost.  The Vikings will at least live to battle another day.

GO VIKINGS!!!!

Nicely Put - Your Common Sense Is Enlightening!

Bottom Line – You should never win a game you commit 7 turnovers in!
We know the Vikings are talented because they were coming back despite those 7 mishaps, without self-inflicted wounds the Vikes are legit!!
Giants just won in OT – they’re hot – hopefully the Packers can come up big on monday night! Next week is the Vikings Redemption Game!

They didn’t commit 7 turnovers. I think they lost 4 or 5 of the fumbles. But your point is spot on.

I like how one of the Panthers RBs ran it in for 4 TDs that game. Makes you wonder what Peterson can do… if he holds onto the ball lol

Wake Up Call

Although I’m just as pissed as everyone else about this loss, the team just needs to swallow it’s dose of humble pie and get ready for next week. Four turnovers won’t win many games for you and it’s a credit to this team’s toughness that they were still in a position to tie or win at the end. This was their wakeup call today reminding them that nothing is certain in this league and they haven’t made the playoffs yet. They need to go out and make a statement next week. SKOL!

thats pretty much exactly what my

old man said in 98 when we watched them lose to the falcons. so wise, yet so frustrating! i just want to queens to win the big one before he kicks the bucket. couldn’t pull one off before grampa went, but, what are you gonna do. go vikes!

Green Bay or the Windy City..... There but for the Grace of God go I.

Three Cheers!

The Vikings, in spite of the turnovers, were never out toughed. In fact, the turnovers was the only battle lost. The Defense dropped Ryan on his head and yielded a mere 98 yards to the leagues top rushing squad. The Offense out gained them and had a slight advantage in TOP. Those damn turnovers!

The Vikes are this close to being serious – heart attack style

To all the young ones

This is what being a Viking fan is all about. So go outside and scream at the gods and then come back in for a shot and a beer and get ready for next week or next year.

I had some crazy dreams last night man...

Is that another side effect of Vikings fandom?

In AP I trust

Yes

Especially if it was a dream about a Viking Super Bowl victory. This one comes up every now and then and all ways turns into a nightmare.

The Giants won

That means they’ll likely rest their starters for most of the game next week, particularly the ones that are already banged up.

No they won’t. Coughlin isn’t Tony Dungy. They didn’t rest their starters last year against New England, and look at the momentum it gave them. They won’t be doing it next sunday.

I couldnt have said it better. The Vikes fought until the very end. Even though there has been a lot of heart breaking moments, I am proud to be a Viking fan.

Good post. Spot on truth. The season is not over. Bears could trip or we can win next week. Either way we’ve had two straight years of improvement. Tjack, i must admit, has gotten better…..and i’ve not been a tjack fan at all since he got drafted……and every player, purple jesus included, is gonna have a slump.

The important thing is for TJack to stay good and AP to go on a packer-esque terror next week.

….and somebody buy shincoe a box of magnums – he earned em yesterday.
