Minnesota's road to the Super Bowl (no one roll their eyes please)
Check it out...
So, assuming this weekend goes well (either MIN wins or CHI loses), here's our road to the Super Bowl:
ROUND 1:
DAL or TB @ MIN
We generally play well against the boyz in the dome, and TB hasn't looked to hot lately...
ROUND 2:
MIN @ CAR or ATL
I'm hoping Carolina loses to New Orleans, so we can have the chance to travel to Hotlanta in round 2 - it'd be AWESOME to put the whooping on them down there.
However, a hard fought game in Carolina could be just as pleasant.
ROUND 3:
MIN @ NYG
(or could be ATL or CAR @ MIN if one of them goes into NY and wins)
The Vikes have played very well in the Meadowlands, and both ATL would NEVER have a repeat performance of last week - 9 out of 10 games we win last week's situation.
Regardless, we have proven we can play well against ALL these teams - this should be a win as well, as long as we stay focused and don't turn the ball over (a big if, I know)
ROUND 4 - TAMBA BAY SUPER BOWL SUNDAY:
MIN VS IND, PIT, or TEN
Let's see... Indy has proven they are beatable, when our defense steps up.
Pittsburgh would be the toughest draw, but I'd say that Big Ben could make a mistake against our D
Tennessee would also be tough, but they've been playing off and on as of late, PLUS I wouldn't count on them having EVERY call go their way twice in a row...
We could see San Diego if they get hot. Anyone remember AP's numbers the last time we played them? *wink*

Week 17 loss to NY and Bears beat Houston
And epic fail commences.

The difference between last year and this year is this...
We’re playing for the division; we STILL control our own destiny; we STILL play REALLY well in the dome, and Houston is STILL playing hot ball at their stadium. It’s not over yet, brothers…
Like I said in another thread, the Bears couldn’t stop Greg Jennings on monday. I can’t wait to see Andre Johnson catch himself a couple TD passes against that overrated defense. . . but I hope that they win, win win, Tampa and Dallas lose, so that we can face them in the Dome and knock them out. Again.
Every team starts the year thinking one thing...
My team is going to the Super Bowl until someone stops me – well, ladies and gentlemen, we have PROVEN we can be CAR and NYG. Atlanta won’t get another lucky game again, and Dallas / Tampa Bay will probably not step up traveling to the dome. It IS possible; you know TJ and AP will be ready to play after their embarrasement last week – fortunately, last week was not a playoff game. Now they can prove that they still have it!
Chickens Hatch on Sundays
If you want to look ahead, you might as well prognosticate the Road to Superbowl XLIV in Miami!
The Patriots
Are much like the Vikings right now. If they get into the playoffs, they shouldn’t be taken lightly. They do not control their own destiny though, they need to rely on either the Ravens or the Dolphins to lose.
The Minnesota Vikings - Undefeated in the Playoffs at Lambeau Field!
The Pats are HOT as HELL right now...
You would NOT want to play them. The Colts should be PRAYING they don’t wind up traveling to NE in the first round…
No one should fear any AFC East team right now...
Besides the Jets beating the Titans somehow, that whole division has wins against the AFC West, NFC West, and each other. I’m pretty sure the Packers would be 14-2 if they were in the AFC East this season.
The Pack can't even hold on to a lead against the Bears
They’d lose both to NY from the Favre factor, and at least one to Miami and NE
WHY
why do we blame the stupid Packer. If we take care of the football and win we would not be talking about this.
They'll be closer than any West team, AFC or NFC.
Just being a smart alec ;D
In AP I trust
