Adding Defensive Linemen
According to ESPN blogger Kevin Seifert, the Vikings are looking into adding Dline depth (no surprise). The name he brings up is Jimmy Kennedy, formerly of Jacksonville. Does anybody know anything about him? Also, who else is out there that we might look to sign?

Oh, I need 75 words. Well..... I like pizza, I enjoy debating sports with my friend Gibby, a Lions fan (hahaha), and the collective bargaining agreement sucks.

He was a first round pick with the Rams, that’s about all I can remember. I don’t recall if he was any good or not. I suppose this shows we aren’t comfortable with Wyms and Evans though.

weell first off he is a 6th year man, a former 1st round pick also. He has 30 career starts with the rams from 03-06,the bears in 07, and most recently the jags this season. he was a full time starter for the rams from 04-06 and had two playoff starts in 04. in his six seasons he has played 62 games, started 30, and has 160 tackles with 5 sacks

75 words or less - how about BUST.
It is expected that he will be in the rotation starting this Sunday against the Lions.
This is a man that was considered one of the top 2 or 3 defensive tackles in the 2003 draft and the Vikings were even considering him but went with Kevin Williams instead.
Kennedy never seemed to make the jump from college stud to the pro game and looked to sit on his laurels. He basically was a bust. Hopefully coach Dunbar can work more of his magic.
It may take a village to raise a child, but it takes a Viking to raze a village.
