Packers sorrow= Vikings glory

I don't know about you all: my fellow drinkers of all things Purple, but seeing the Puker nation in such dissaray makes me smile almost as much as a likely Vikings playoff birth.  I smile so much in fact that propper usage of grammar seems unescesary as much as spelling in this post.  We have gone from almost the entire NFL 'expert' predictions of a Packer rout of the division to a healthy Viking lead in less than 100 days.  Nothing makes me happier than cheese falavored teers falling upon a less than sanctified Lambeau Field.  Should we progress a few games into the offseason, ChillDogg has to be our coach for the forseeable future.  I know, there has been many a bone headed call this year, but don't you see something extra in this year's Queens?  We simply find ways to win games.  I look forward to a rout of the Cardinals. (How good would OUr record be if we got to face the Seahawks, Niners, and Rams for 6 games?).  Continue on my purple bretheren, SKOL!

Ok, done feeling sry, hahaha Packers. But our year is not done yet,we still have a chance.Of course our boards will get flooded the second we lose, but what the hey.We knew our season was done when Ferret took over, anything we get now is gravey.Including a playoff spot, mmmm what is it that GB needs to get into the playoffs.30 teams to have a bad case of the flu, then they play Detroit and lose.Sheer Karma after the Favre years eh.

Schadenfruede

The German term for what you are experiencing is Schadenfruede. This means to take joy in the misfortune of others. It is a good feeling, is it not?!

I am in a fantasy league with six Viking fans and six Packer fans. The league message board has been much easier on the eyes than recent years. The recent deafening silence from my Packer brethren is breathtaking.

While I'm glad the Pack didn't make it...

Keep the name calling out of it. Booting them off the board for calling the Vikes derogatory names loses a leg to stand on if we do the same thing.

Regarding Childress, if the Vikes make the playoffs. he’s earned himself another year. I may not like his coaching, but I will not argue with results.

Yes, I ave found myself enjoying a packer loss almost as much

as a Viking win. When I get both it is very nice!

While I am happy with the Packers subpar season, I am not going to start laughing and calling names. We have three VERY tough games ahead of us, and they have JAX, CHI, and DET. While they haven’t looked good recently… they’re not completely out of it yet. When they are mathematically eliminated from division contention I might start my jabbering.

V-I-K-I-N-G-S! Skol Vikings, Let's Go!!

Packers = "Dumbest move in the NFL award"

Hey I got an idea, your team went to the NFC championship with probably the best QB to ever play the game and he retires. Than he wants to come back and play for you again! WHAT DO YOU DO?! NOT TRADE HIM!! HA the packers made the dumbest move ever! EVER! I hope the jets go to the playoffs so bad! Shows the fudge packers how stupid they are…

Go Jets and Skol Vikings! lol

I like the jets

but I hope they miss the playoff this year. then next year, they can go deep into the playoffs. if they win the super bowl this year, then packs get a #1 pick, if they make the playoffs pack gets a #2 pick, otherwise, they get just a 3rd rounder (if i am remembering the terms right). let the pack get the lesser pick, then the jets can win one for the old skipper, there are 2 more years left on his contract after this one,

I’d say to let the Jets go to the SB. It would mean that Favre was good enough to lead a team he had no familiarity with prior to this season to the SB, and they’d only end up with the 31 or 32nd pick of the draft, which is essentially a second rounder.

A huge part of the pack’s success last year was that they finally got their offense gameplan gelled. They found a winning combination of deep balls, screens and inside runs that ONLY Farve could do. Remember the two years prior to last year? Awful to mediocre before last year. I really for the life of me dont know what they were thinking…….I cant believe that they forgot about how their team looked the first two years favre was getting to know his “youngest team in the nfl”.

Take Favre out of the mix and the CB’s dont give the WR’s that extra step or two of cushion to open up the quick screens. The Linebackers aren’t dropped back into coverage as much to respect his arm so the inside runs arent as open for Grant.

Idiots and they deserve this season.

Let them get a 1st round pick

Tampering Ted will just trade it away for 4 or 5 6th round picks, 3 of which won’t make the team anyway!
