Let me introduce myself....... and also Jaymar Johnson!!

Just wanted to introduce myself to everyone!  My name is John and I just recently found out about this website and I have to say it's the best Vikings site around.  I'm very excited to be a new member and I look forward to talking LOTS of Viking football with you all!!

So my first comments regarding Vikings football is going to be about Jaymar Johnson.  I'm truly truly excited about this young player.  I think he is going to be something truly special and I'm thrilled that the Vikings picked him up.  I think that he will be a lethal return man along with Maurice Hicks and a very good deep threat in the very near future.  If he can just get a little bigger, he will be spectacular.  He has Troy Williamson speed and he also can catch the football!!  WOW!!  I think that he could possibly be the Vikings best draft pick besides Tyrell Johnson.  I really hope the Vikes give him a roster spot because like I said, I think that he is truly something special and I believe that he is talent that you just can't let slip away.

Deep passes

With Johnson’s hands and quickness, I don’t think he’d be limited to the long passing game. Some receivers only do well on deep passes because their reactions aren’t quick enough. They need the long balls so they have time to react to it and then prepare to catch it. I think Johnson would have the reaction time and skill to catch Jackson’s hard throws on short passes better than most receivers too.

I too believe that he can do more than just the deep ball but i’m just saying that with his speed, he is lethal down field. He is going to be a great target for Jackson in the near future. I think a great trio is going to be Johnson, Rice and Berrian. With both Berrians and Johnson’s speed spreading the field and Rice being a very big target at 6’4”, that is a lether receiving group. I just really hope Johnson gets a chance to show what he can do.
