WHY DOES T-JACK HAS SO MANY HATERS

From Day 1 I have liked T-Jack.  Obviously he's impoved dramatactilly from last year.  Take the Denver Game. Do you think even Tom Brady would have brought a team  back from being down 16 with like 4 minutes left.  Well if you say Tom Brady could, why didn't he do it in the Super Bowl.  You know what they say, Cheaters never win.  I wonder did spygate help Tom Brady become part of who he is today.  Put Tom Brady on the Vikings Last Year.  We would've gone 7-9 instead of 8-8.  Tom has always had a good receiver corp, and i wonder how good would he be without one.  I'm not saying T-Jack is better than Tom, but T-Jack can strive heck of a lot better when he know the game is on the line.  If Tom is so good, why cant he win a Superbowl by more then 3 points.  You can also take the redskin game.  We could've and should've won that game, if it wasn't for that BS call.   Now answer this question.  Why does T-Jack has so many haters?  When he prove himself like i know he will, dont jump on the bandwagon of the T-Jack fans.  Keep hating.  The T-Jack bandwagon is haters free.  Are you in the T-Jack bandwagon, or is you a hater?

Give TJ a chance.

Give TJ a chance, he’s improved ,growing and maturing. He should be even better than last season and shouldn’t be making as many mistakes as last year. He won’t be a pro-bowler, but I believe he will be at the next level of play.

IT'S TIME FOR A RING !!!!!

Comparing Tom Brady to Jackson is just ridiculous, and I say this even while I’m expecting Jackson to improve. Am I on the bandwagon, no. Am I a hater, no. I’m waiting to see how things turn out and am willing to give him time.

If we had Tom Brady as a starter though, I highly doubt we’d be 7-9. How many interceptions did Jackson throw last year that changed the course of the game? I bet that Perfect Tom wouldn’t have thrown them. A 4th quarter comeback? Tom Brady is king of those, to be honest. I think he’s won something like 28 or 29 comeback games. And no, he hasn’t always had good recievers. In 2006 they had terrible recievers and he still nearly took them to the SB. I don’t mean to tear into your post like that and pick it apart, but you seem to have your head up in the clouds. Nobody is going to compare Jackson to Brady and maintain reality. Maybe they will in the future, but I doubt it.

I’m not comparing him to Brady, i’m analyzing him and Brady. Do you think Tom Brady could hang in the NFC North, who is one of the most best defensive Divisons in the NFL. Let Brian Urlacher, Darren Sharper, or Nick Barnett get some good licks on him. T-jack can survive them can Tom.

Yes, to be honest, I’m sure Brady could survive in any division you put him in. He got hurt during the post season, but I’m pretty sure that was the only memorable injury he’s had during his tenure, and it wasn’t the first time he’s been hit before. There are guys just as large in the AFC that he faces on a regular basis.

I’m just trying to get people to have confident in T-jack, because every time his name comes up, its either negativity or putdowns. Am i saying he is better than Tom.No!! The only two things i say he has on Tom as of Right Now is agility and arm strength. I’m just saying i think if people give him postives reviews, and things of that nature, he can be a NFl quarterback, and give him the confidence he need to succeed. All i’m trying to do is give Viking fans some postive things to talk about.

That’s fine. He hasn’t given too many things to be positive about though. I’m not saying he’s terrible, he’s not. He’s learning. Which is partially an issue and not bad at the same time. On the one hand, a, good mind you, veteran on the team could be enough to push it over the edge. Jackson is not too experienced. On the other hand, he’s learning fairly quickly. Anyone who thinks he was exactly the same last season obviously didn’t watch our five game run. He wasn’t playing that bad. He learned from his mistakes. I’m expecting him to keep learning and improving through this season as well.

As far as positive things go, there’s plenty. The running game, the entire friggin’ defense, the improved passing game. Pretty much everything. Jackson is simply the “weakest link”, but it’s just because nobody knows what to expect from him really.

............

I know I’m late to this conversation but better late than never. No way can you compare T-Jack to Tom Brady. Yes Tom Brady could pull any team out of a 16 point hole to win a game, yes Tom Brady could survive in the NFC North. He could survive in any division and win. He’s got GREAT pocket awareness and knows where to put the ball. His arm is greatness, have you seen the bombs he would throw to Moss against the Jets, Dolphins and Giants? Tom Brady and Peyton Manning are in leagues of their own. I seriously doubt that Belichick’s cheating had anything to do with Brady’s development as a QB. Now, to our boy Jackson, he is the epitomy of a QB developing in his system. He came from a very basic college football system to a very complex West Coast system. I think he gets so much negative attention from the public because the Vikings went from Daunte Culpepper to Brad Johnson to Tarvaris Jackson. The production went down when the experience level went down. But I say this, Jackson’s record would be a lot better if Williamson hadn’t dropped that ball against Denver, Shiancoe hadn’t dropped a couple of TD passes and if he hadn’t gotten injured those 4 games. I really think Jackson could have beaten the Eagles and Chiefs if he had played. This is Jackson 3rd year in this offense and from what I’ve been hearing, he’s more confident in the huddle and when he throws the ball. Berrian may not be Moss but he sure is better than Williamson. Sydney Rice is just a running pair of hands and catches everything thrown at him. I think Jackson will settle in as the starter this season and prove that he is an NFL QB. Frerrotte will help him learn the game like he helped Culpepper. Brad Johnson didn’t want to stay here and help Jackson so he too his selfish ass to Dallas to back up Romo. Frerrotte knows he is the backup and that’s good to have, a man who knows his place and is willing to help Jackson. It’s what Jackson needs and it’s what this offense needs.
