T Jack and the how 12-4 is believable for next season.
I dont understand why so many people are hating on T-Jack yes he may not be great but it has a solid winning record, and had it not been for more than a few dropped TDs the vikings could have been 10-6 or better last season. One particular example that comes to mind is the drop that T-Will had during the denver game, and although T-Jack didnt play the KC game if Shiancoe would have caught that pass thats another win. Theres 10-6 if we would have won those two games. Not to mention we should have beaten the Lions the first time and the redskins also. So there is 12-4 for last season if we would have played all four quarters of every game. And people are saying we wont do better than 8-8 next i personally believe 12-4 is possible with the upgrades we made this offseason and sweep of the division is going to happen.

T-Jack
People have a right to doubt Jackson. He has actually looked good in very few of the games he has played in.
I personally think Jackson will be all right, but the only person who can really stop the negative talk is Jackson himself. He needs to put together a season of mostly pretty good games to silence his critics.

T-Jack
I’m rooting for T-Jack I really want him to, like mightymushrat said, silence the critics. I like the ground attack that he brings to the table, when everyone is down the field and he can scramble for 5-20 yards.
Hopefully now that stone hands is gone and this news we are hearing about Shiancoe improving he’ll have a good year next year.

T-Jack
The Vikings are going to be a sleeper team next year, with T-Jack being one of the Leaders of the Vikings’ ship. He gonna take us all the way to the playoffs. But the big thing is, what if he gets injured. Can i’ll back-ups still win us a game or two without him, because they couldn’t last year.
Also we could have been 13-3, because when we played the Packers the first time, they didn’t give us that Pass inerference call. We could’ve won that game to. Really we also could’ve beaten the Cowboys.

TJACK
TJACK has to get better. Our run game is great, our defense is very good, and our special teams are at least average. A lot of QB’s could have produced the wins that TJack has so far, and that’s why the critics don’t care about the record, and rightfully so. From what I’ve seen, I think he will pan out… But he has to get better. QB in the NFL is the hardest position in pro sports to learn and master, so we will just have to wait and see.
Also, the saying “You are what you are” in the NFL is very true. We were an 8-8 team last year. There will always be games where you can say ” Oh, we should have won that game, or this game, because of this or that…” I could just as easily say we would have lost the Bears game if… Or We would have lost the raiders game if just…. But we didn’t, and we didn’t win the KC game, or the Detroit game, or whatever game. We were 8-8, we should have been 8-8, that’s how we played. Next year, 10-6 plus or minus one W, win the division, and at least one playoff game.

I gotta concur with footballninja—the difference between an 8-8 team and a 13-3 team isn’t bad calls going against the 8-8 team. The 13-3 team is able to win in spite of the bad calls.
Honestly, I think we’re looking at a 10-6 record next year, and that Dallas will kick our teeth down our throats in the first round of the playoffs.

I don’t think Dallas will kick our teeth down our throats if we play them in 1st round of the playoffs. They are good, but we had a good run against them last year and we have added some playmakers. I think as long as we can get pressure on Romo and keep T.O. covered and make them try to force the ball, like the Bills did last year, and picked Romo off five times.

Coaching
TJack would be a better qb with the right coach. He needs someone to build a passing game around him like they did with Randle Cunningham and Culpepper. They need an offense that plays to his strengths instead of trying to fit him into a system that he isn’t good for. Joe Gibbs was always good at that (sirca 80s-90s) I believe Chili is the only man in the NFL that can stop AP. He’s the wrong guy to max out this team’s talent.
With this guy as your coach, it’s unrealistic to think of double digit wins.
Prediction: Chili is done this year. They bring in “The Chin”, Bill Cower.
