Window of Oportunity

With all the hoopla around the Vikes need Brett Farve, I keep seeing all these comments about us needing to walk to superbowl glory this year. However maybe I am still an optimist at heart with all our young talent and long contracts on key players believe that we will be contenders for not only the playoffs but the Superbowl for the next 4-5 years! There is not even the hint of we need to bring in a player like this for one year cause this our only shot. Well let us hear your thoughts.

I think it’ll be two or three years down the line before we lose Birk, Sharper, and Pat Williams, and I think that’ll be a big part of our team. Not sure if we can replace that.

The goal is a dynasty

I selected the 2-3 year rage, but so far with the triumvirate of power that is currently running things, if they keep to plan of drafting best player and for the long term along with supplementing it with top quality free agents, why can’t we stay at the top of the league for a decade or more?

Am I asking too much?

It may take a village to raise a child, but it takes a Viking to raze a village.
