Fantasy Football Update

Just a reminder that sign-ups for the 2008 Daily Norseman Fantasy Football League will run through this Thursday, 31 July.

Also, if you're one of the people that was sent an invitation to join the league prior to the random sign-ups being opened and you do NOT sign your team up before 31 July, YOUR SPOT WILL GO UP FOR GRABS. There are still two people (cruton647 and UncleBillyBonz) that haven't signed up yet. If you need the sign-up info, please shoot me an e-mail and let me know. I'll relay it to you again.

To everyone else, good luck, and here's hoping you get signed up for the league! If not, don't despair, because I'll be opening up at least one more league if there's enough interest. I'll get the names of everyone that wasn't selected after the random spots have been filled.

Gonzo,

I see that no body else has signed up for your fantasy football league?? Is there something I am missing? Do you have to "approve" who ever joins or can anyone sign up?

It was a lot of fun last year, hopefully we don’t have a problem with turnout this year.

No, no. . .

Nothing like that. . .

Looking at the league, all of the folks that I had sent invites to for guaranteed spots have signed up. The other 5 spots in the league are the ones that are going to go up for grabs in a random drawing of DN readers.

We’ll have a full league by the end of the week, and then I’ll give out details on scoring and all that other good stuff.
