Vikings Place 3 on IR; Sign 3 New Faces
As expected, the Vikings placed LB Heath Farwell and DE Jayme Mitchell on the injured reserve list today. Joining them on IR is G Mike Jones, who was also injured in the pre-season loss to Seattle.
To reload the roster, the Vikings have signed three more players. Those three players are Chris Norwell, a DE from Illinois that was originally signed as a UDFA by New England, Sean Dumford, an offensive tackle out of Eastern Kentucky, and Brock Pasteur, an offensive tackle from Stephen F. Austin.
And, to be honest, that's really all I can say about that. I don't know a darn thing about any of those three players. If any of you folks know anything about them, feel free to fill us in down in the comments section.
That's all the news that is news for tonight, folks. . .continue enjoying your Monday night!

Chris Norwell
It’s actually Chris not Brian. He was actually a DT for Illinois and was not very good. Quite frankly i’m surprised he is even on an NFL team. He is about 6’6” 305 so that doesn’t exactly say speed of the edge.
I don’t know why they didn’t sign a DE…
Now Madieu Williams is out six weeks. This is getting ridiculous.

My bad
I don’t know where I got “Brian” from, to be honest. Must have been a bit tired last night when I updated.

i tell ya M-Will is continuing his injury prone rep from Cinny…i just hope that Tyree is ready for the big leagues. I think that he is the best replacement @ saftey right now.
