Childress: Jackson’s knee bruised
Judd Zulgad from the Star-Tribune is reporting that the knee injury to Tarvaris Jackson is a bruise. Jackson currently has a brace on the knee.
Hopefully it's nothing more serious than that.

wishing you had favre right about now? i personally think Booty will be good given a season on the bench
I would rather have syphilis
than Brett Favre.
You can charitably classify that as a “no.” (-:

There were two things Tavaris needed to do:
Get rid of the jump passes: He’s definitely looking better in the pocket. That goes without saying.
Stay healthy: Last season, Tavaris missed four games and left four games early due to injury. Seeing this happen again already is not a good sign.
Had it been a REAL GAME....
He would have come back into the game… it was a minor bruise and he was walking the sidelines with Ice then a Brace. Nothing major at all; just keeping over cautious.
He actually hurt it on the play prior to the passing play when he scrambled out for a few yards; he needs to take a lesson from the book of Culpepper learn what NOT to do…..and learn to SLIDE!!!
Jackson has been looking GREAT so far and I expect big things from him if he can do the little things to keep himself healthy then he will be fun to watch.
BTW Skywalker – PLEASE don’t start the BS about Farve!! I KNEW that crap would start as soon as Jackson left the game.

Personally
i think the vikes will make it to the superbowl with T-Jack. All my friends disagree with me. Favre is done tbh. It was really just a little playful ribbing :D
That makes me feel a little better… but not much.

T-Jax Injury Update
MRI has revealed he has a sprained MCL. He should be ready to go in Green Bay, no problem.

No worries!
He has been sharp and can continue to work in practice; so he will only lose the snaps on the field…which I honestly don’t really care about. He’ll be ready week 1 and I’m sure he will take away from this and learn to SLIDE next time.
