Alright. . .my first fantasy draft of the year was last night. It's a league I'm in with a bunch of guys from my workplace. I wound up having the 12th pick of a 12-team league. Just thought I'd throw out what I wound up with for everyone to critique.

What positions were to be filled 1qb, 2 rb, 2wr, 1te, 1k, 1def? Most of your picks are solid, nice pick up Ray Rice he could be big factor with Mcgahee being injured and having fumble issues last year. I thought Winslow was a reach in the third round.

I think
being able to nab Manning as the 3rd QB taken, all the way down at #12 overall, is a steal. Good draft.

more importantly (at least to me)
why don’t you check your email or go to aPa and get the league info/pass!
Eww, I posted on a Vikings messageboard. I feel so…dirty.

Either your league is REALLY run heavy
Or you over-drafted rbs in my opinion. But I like a nice, balanced team too.
What are the by-weeks?

Not Bad...
I play over on NFL here’s what I got…
1 (8) – Peyton Manning (QB IND)
2 (17) – Terrell Owens (WR DAL)
3 (32) – Steve Smith (WR CAR)
4 (41) – Michael Turner (RB ATL)
5 (56) – Dallas Clark (TE IND)
6 (65) – DST Vikings (DST MIN)
7 (80) – Kevin Smith (RB DET)
8 (89) – Alge Crumpler (TE TEN)
9 (104) – Sidney Rice (WR MIN)
10 (113) – Ahmad Bradshaw (RB NYG)
11 (128) – Tarvaris Jackson (QB MIN)
12 (137) – Isaac Bruce (WR SF)
13 (152) – Jabar Gaffney (WR NE)
14 (161) – Robbie Gould (K CHI)
I dropped Ahmad Bradshaw for Matt Forte because the way it sounds he might be the only that the Bears offense has.

damn you had a very good draft, looks like you will be the favorite to win it if turner and smith are as good as they have been projected
dropping bradshaw for forte will be a good move if forte is as good as well
Longo=ROY. Friedman=Executive of the year. Maddon=Manager of the year. Rays=WS champs 08! fiddler cat=best way to show your excitement. BJ UPTON IS NOT LAZY! ! ! Gabe Gross=caption clutch.

Good except for #2 RB
Mendenhall has been HORRIBLE, and by horrible I mean, REALLY HORRIBLE during training camp. He was brought to be a powerback to compliment Mr. Parker, but apparently Mendenhall has no vision or strength. Could be Pittsburghs 1st team D is just that good or other reasons. Its come to the point that Tomlin has called Mendenhall out repeatedly, and Im talking not only on the field, but in the media as well. But other than that…nice draft.

Pretty good overall
Manning was a steal at 12th, but I probably would have grabbed another D rather than have so many RBs. But thats just me. :)

Looks Pretty Solid
First off – best team name by far!
It was nice to obtain Manning and Barber at the first turn. Winslow as the first TE off the board in the 3rd is ballsy, but may pay off. I expect a drop from Gates this year, though I like Whitten better than Winslow. Ricky Williams in the 13th is a nice pick with little risk, but lots of upside. I'm not crazy about Mehndenhall that early, but Chester should be a solid RB2.
Overall a solid team with good depth and potential. Well done from pick 12.

Gonzo!
That was HUGE getting Manning at #12!!!!! Overall team looks pretty solid with a few good risks taken. Good luck this year!
Check this out: Last year our ten team league decided to change over to a keeper league. I was lucky enough to get the first pick of the draft and “wasted” that pick on LT (oh darn), and then in the second round I got my ass chewed for taken Adrian Peterson WAY TOO EARLY!
We’re only allowed to keep two players from last year’s team; wanna guess who my two keepers are?? LOL
How many fantasy guys in ALL of fantasy land will have both LT AND Adrian “All Day” Peterson as their starting backs on their team??
WooHoo!!!!!!!
Skol Vikings!!!!!!!!!

Good, but could be better.
The team is solid, but a move needs to be made for a #2 RB. A rookie that will most likely loose out on 65-70% of his carries to Fast Willie Parker will not cut it. Hopefully he gets the goal line touches being the much more physical back.
Roddy White in the 10th round will pay off tremendously, and I think that was your best pick by far. He might not have a good QB, but he came into his own last year, and will only get better. I think you will be able to peddle off a WR for a RB, and I really think White will be a solid #2 WR for your team, and with Berrian, and Curits as well you could do some damage.
Kellen Winslow is a ** Soldier! 3rd might be one round too early, but he’s such a beast it will be a fine pick.

Forte's OL problem
The Chicago O-line suffered key injuries already. Thus, Forte’s value may have diminished since your draft. Do NOT start him when facing our beloved purple. You took many risks at RB, I hope that pans out for you. Otherwise a solid roster.
Go get ‘em!

I like Winslow early. I don’t like Mendenhall, at all. Chester Taylor will end up being your RB2, I’m sure.
What’re the starting roster slots? That is, how many RB’s, WR’s, etc. Does your league have a flex spot?
Jackson will end up being a steal at #178. Mark my words.
