Sunday's Expectations

Ever the Optimist I fully expect the Vikings to pull out a win this sunday.  But don't get me wrong, I think it will be inspite of Chillies play calling and the insertion of Gus Gus, not because of it.

I expect Gus Gus's line to look something like this: 13-16 of 30'ish for 130-150 yrds, 1 TD and 1 Pick and at least 1 or 2 sacks, since he wont be able scramble out of the way effectively.

I expect at least 130 yrds rushing from whoever gets the lions share of carries this week wether it be Taylor or AP, and at least 1 rushing TD

I think that Longwell will kick 2 or 3 field goals

I believe our D will sack the venerable Delhomme 2, and limit the panthers to 14 points.

Final prediction, Vikings 20, Car 14.

Childress's Heart

Our headcoach doesn’t have that killer instinct. He lets the other team hang around just long enough to beat us. He has to learn to stick the knife in and then twist it, take their heart.

Too optimistic

Gus goes down more than twice this game.

Carolina scores more than 17.

My prediction: another close one. CT will rock, as will Garrett Mills. BB shows up in the box score, and one of our safeties and LBs gets an INT. Oh ya, and JA meets RE at Delhomme for tea and crumpets all afternoon.

If Carolina scores more then 17 then we have to score 21 or more. thats a lot of TD for our guys, but I like your positive attitude. I agree with you htat JA has a break out game. BB only shows up in the box score if Chilly lets him get open this time. interesting that Lovie Smith never had any problems scheming him to open spaces. hmm.

Will the Real Thor Please Stand Up ... ?

Nope. Lack of TDs on our part, but at least we got into the endzone again, finally. You had a pretty good prediction though, to be honest. Obviously, the rushing yardage was way off, but, overall, pretty good.
