Al Harris to Possibly Miss Rest of Season with Ruptured Spleen
Pretty much a division-altering injury if it's true. Outside of Clutchy and Grabby (aka Harris and Charles Woodson), the Pack's CB depth is suspect at best.
Bigger update coming later on this afternoon/early this evening. Acme Packing Company will certainly have more on this story.

Question??
Can anyone tell me why I dont feel bad for Al “I just got my ass handed to me by AD” Harris? What goes around comes around bro.

Not division altering
The Packers are still the only team in the North that aren’t poorly coached and organized.
While I don't wish a serious injury to anyone..
if it happens to Al Harris I won’t lose any sleep. Hard to find a dirtier corner out there but because I hate him as a football player doesn’t mean I wish serious harm on him as a human being.

The first thought to cross my mind was:
“Who will commit blatant pass interference on our Wide Receivers now?”
I don't root for injuries to occur
But I can’t think of someone more deserving than Dirty Al.
In AP I trust

I'm sad
Because who will AD put on their butt now?

Division altering?
I certainly hope not. Then again, I’m not a Vikings fan.
I posted a piece about the depth of GB’s cornerbacks. Take a look; Tramon Williams is better than you think, Will Blackmon has the tools to make it work…and that’s pretty much it.
Also: DAMN, you guys really hate Woodson and Harris. I suppose if my recievers kept getting subjected to physical play (the term I prefer to “Clutchy and Grabby”) that affected their production, I’d be pissed too.
Finally, congrats on the win against Carolina. That blitz-sack-forced fumble-recovery-for-TD by Antoine Winfield was sick. I hope he never does it again.

Question for ya:
Al Harris is saying he’s not done for the season yet.
Does this remind you of Shawn(sp?) Merriman too? Or is it just me? When we see one QB come back early (Carson Palmer) and do fine, everyone seems to think they can do it, and it just seems foolish and risky to me, as Daunte Culpepper has definitely proven. As a fan, do you want him to hang it up for the year? Or would you rather he played through the pain?
And yeah, we get bitter when we see blatant pass interference not called. What can ya do about it. :- b
Don’t congradulate us yet. Wait to see if we have a winning record after week 5. THEN congratulate us. After week 5, the season difficulty gets a LOT easier.

I'd want him to make the right decision for himself
I definitely would not want him to endanger himself to play football. As a player, I love it when guys play through nicks and bruises, like Carson Palmer’s broken nose or Tony Romo’s busted chin (which wasn’t THAT bad, but bad enough). But when it’s something serious, I’d rather the player get healthy first and foremost.
