After his play last week, and the impact and identity he lends to the defense, it only seems appropriate that EJ Henderson receives a nickname as good as All Day and/or Purple Jesus.

One last thing--many of the nicknames refer to the flying Superman hit EJ laid on DeAngelo Williams last week, just a point of reference.

EJ!

I love referring to him simply as EJ. Although, varying how you say the name is what makes it great. I like to elongate the E and say it loud and with authority… “EEEEEEEEE, JAY!” Think Chris Berman and his “GEEEEE-MEN” phrase. It’s perfect!!

Edge...

My vote would be to just call him Edge Henderson as if pronouncing E.J. like the letters weren’t abbreviating something.

Edge Henderson sounds badass and that runningback in Arizona clearly lacks the burst worthy of such a sweet nickname as of the last few seasons (or whenever he didn’t have the leagues best passing game making all that room for him)— but he did have it first… what do you guys think?
