If the rams can do it....

why can't we?

http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=3615358

Rams fire Linehan. I saw that coming for a while now. So the Rams do what we should do. I think its a smart move for them especially. They really weren't going to go anywhere this year, why not bring someone in who can take them somewhere and give the entire organization a fresh perspective and allow for the new HC scheme to be implemented. This obviously will probably take some time but I bet that come the start of next season the Rams are a totally different organization than the one this season.

Seriously Zygi lets get our thinking hats and pants on and a) make the decision which is in the best LONG term interests of your organization and perhaps b) make the decision that will best benifit your hard earned dollars which seem to have been spent on some particularly rubbish talent (ala Tapeh, Wade, etc). (I'm perhaps giving wade a hard time but lets face it, we shouldn't have paid for what we have gotten).

STAT

Just to let you all know from what I can make out; Childress’ current record is 16-20, Linehan’s is 11-25, 5 more wins (Across 3 years mine you, not per season!!!!) is what Childress has given to us with a team that is EONS better than the rams.

Is that not a telling stat or what?

Who are we going to replace him with? Honestly, I wouldn’t complain if he got the shaft. I feel he doesn’t use the talent on this team as well as he could, but I don’t want to go into this with our eyes closed. We need to know who’s coming in first. Frazier for HC? I don’t know how much better we’d be. He’s a DC, we’d have Bevell calling the plays still.

Lane Kiffin once the Raiders grow a pair and fire him like they keep saying they will (I know, they want him to quit, but I don’t see that happening). Hell, maybe Al Davis would be up for a coaching trade.

My thoughts exactly

i have been saying this for a week now. Fire chilly and bevell (and the more i think about it the QB and Wide Recievers coach). promote Frazier to HC, Hire Lane Kiffin to be OC, and promote either Dunbar or Pagic as DC or at least as the interim DC.

fire the whole staff

I’ll take the next 3 month’s off and run the team….

I have experience…

2 years Gator Football assistant
3 years Soccer assistant (6-7 year old)
4 years Dixie Youth baseball assistant

I can routinely beat my 8 year old son at Madden 08….and I use the Vikings team

I’m a Kick Ass Fantasy Football coach

seems like more than enough qualifications…..I’ll even take help from any other posters to fill out my staff…..I KNOW I could draw up better plays in the dirt than these idiots are showing us
