Congratulations to the Minnesota Twins
Well, when you can't manage more than two hits in the biggest game of the season, you can't expect too much. The Twins had a pretty good season overall, considering that they were picked by many experts in the pre-season to finish no better than 4th in the AL Central.
And, fortunately for the Twins, they're not coached by Brad Childress, so they actually have a chance at anything that resembles success in their short-term future as well.
Watching this one has pretty much worn me out, so this will be the extent of the updates for tonight. Tomorrow we'll take a look at the fantasy league and start looking ahead to the Saints. Have a good night, everybody!

Maybe Gomez can play Wr for the Vikes?
He has the speed and his hands can’t be any worse than Shiancoe’s.
Twins had their chances against the Royals! Everyone knew the black sox would have troubles with Cleveland and the Twins still couldn’t take advantage.

I have a question.
Why run the West Coast offense when we have 2 of the best power runners in all of football and no posession-type receivers?
That offense is predicated on having large, posession receivers and a running back that can catch the ball. Now, AP and Chester are GREAT power runners, but neither can catch the ball well. We also have a HUGE offensive line, when the West Coast requires smallish O-linemen that can move and pull to block on screen passes and the like. Why don’t we just go back to the old 2-back and 2 flanker set with a Tight End on the line every time? Why don’t we just BEAT PEOPLE UP with our dominating line and strong running backs? We can find a man to play deep-threat occasionally, and Frerotte (dunno how bad he is hurt) will be a very capable QB that can probably sniff out a blitz and audible once in a while.
Please tell me where this game plan is wrong. I just wanna know.
Baseball's only fun if you're playing it, watching it, or thinking about it.
We do have two great pulling lineman
in Matt Birk and Hutch. And what do you mean AP and Chester Taylor can’t catch the ball. I seem to remember a 60 yrd touchdown catch by AP last year where he had to coral the ball before he could go. I am not saying we are perfectly suited to the WCO, but AP does his best magic in space, not up the middle. that is one of the problems with our current offense. too much up the middle running.
Will the Real Thor Please Stand Up ... ?
