unbelievable
as a life long viking fan i have watched our team be so close so many times. all the superbowl losses, all the seasons that were so promising only to fall flat at the end. at the end of every season i am convinced that next year is going to be the year. i don't feel that way this year. i can't see us getting to the big game w/ childress calling the shots. had he made decent decisions as to who would be the starting qb and brought someone in that was decent we could be sitting were the cardinals are now. if he would have at least tried i'd feel a little better about it. i am a 37 year old fan that has never rooted for another team i suffered through watching the bucs win a superbowl and now the cards are in one too. 2 of the historically worst franchises in the nfl have been or are going to the big game. besides the cards phenominal receivers and good qb, the cards have nothing on the vikings talent wise. what they do have is a good coach that the players and the fans believe in. a good coach makes a team. we do not have the coach that will get us to where we want to be.

Overratted?
Besides the Cardinals having an experienced, proven, (not to mention former 2-time NFL MVPer/Superbowl winner), and smart qb, with TWO 1k yard receivers, they are exactly like the vikings.

The Cardinals won...
because McNabb absolutely threw some horrible ducks behind/past his receivers.
Also, the Cardinals have the best receivers in the NFL hands down – so if Warner gets time in the pocket his receivers will get open, unlike Viking receivers.
Cardinals over the Steelers – Fitzgerald gets a 60yd touchdown as time expires!!!

I’d love to see the Cardinals win, but I just can’t bet against the Steelers. They haven’t faced as prolific an offense as they will in Arizona, but they have the toughest defense Arizona’s going to have faced. I don’t see James and Hightower having much success on the ground, and I can see Warner getting knocked around in the pocket under the pressure from Pitt’s blitz.
It definitely won’t be a pretty game with a high score like the NFC Championship.
