Oh, what a time to relive...
Wow, stay the hell away from the vikings site on yahoo. There are at least two stories on there about 17 Jan 99. I'm sure we all remember that one. so yeah, I just read both the stories on there and I got all pissy all over again. Lol, it should have been a good day, drinking with my dad at age 18, because who doesn't want to have a couple beers watching the vikings go to the super bowl. Boy oh boy did that all go crashing in. anyway, stay clear, unless you want to go through black sunday all over again. fun fun.

Remember
We should, afterall they are our vikings. Its just as much their history as it will be when they win the superbowl.
If You Think That Was Bad
A few months ago the NFL Network had a complete reshowing of the “Hail Mary” game and the agonizing ending that was the worst no-call of an obvious penalty in the history of the league. As I watched the replay these many years later it was obvious that the Vikings were the superior team that got cheated out of a victory that day. I hope that referee’s head still hurts today from that bottle. The guy that threw it deserves a medal.
I had forgotten about the bottle
And 99 still hurts too much, almost as much as Jan 11th 1970, Jan 13th 1974, Jan 12th 1975 and Jan 9th 1977. Being a Viking fan is like the old joke about the masochist and the sadist.
The masochist said to the sadist beat me and the sadist said no.

good joke...
…I just sat through a philosophy class and that joke is by far the most clever thing I’ve heard today!
