if AP keeps up
I bet he will get a MVP in a minimum of two season, the guy is spectacular. He just needs to reduce the amounts he coughs up the ball
Who wants to play Leapfrog with Trent?

Anyone know the name of the guy that helped Tiki Barber with that fumbling problem a few years ago?
He really needs to work on that. Maybe we can hire a specialist.

Manning deserved it.
He’s the only player in the league that could have orchestrated that painful Week 2 comeback.

Good post Tony.
I knew he wasn’t going to win after those 3 fumbles.

A. P.'s Best Is Yet To Come
He was rookie of the year in 2007 tearing up the league. He was MVP in his first Pro Bowl appearance. His name was in any conversation about MVP this year. Not to worry, he’ll be back stronger than ever next year with something to prove…Ahh, Incentive!…Oh, and BTW..congrats to Peyton.

Ehh. I’m torn on this. I don’t think Peyton should have been MVP. He definitely helped raise the level of his team, but he does that every year. If he won it this year, he should have won it more than 3 times. And how does Michael Turner get 4 votes, when DeAngelo Williams get absolutely none? What is that? And Chris Johnson getting an MVP vote? Seriously?

Oh. I should probably put down that I thought Ed Reed deserved to be MVP. The guy had a monster season and definitely helped the Ravens with their 11-5 record.

I think
If he didn’t fumble so much he would win it hand down.

Fumbles
The ATL game had a huge impact on the voters I believe. Peterson had a chance to impress when the game REALLY meant something and he failed. That is one reason I am very nervous about Sunday. When pressed, Peterson sometimes does not squeeze the football and it gets punched out.
This season nobody really established themself as a top tier MVP candidate. By the votes, you would assume that Manning had a record breaking season, yes he had zero running attack, but he did what was expected. DeAngelo Williams should not have been ignored after scoring 20 TD’s, that was a shame. And what is the deal with Chad Pennington getting Comback Player of the year for two of the past three seasons? Isn’t there a limit on how many times you can suck and then redeem yourself?
