Does Brett Favre Want To Play For The Vikings?
After just one season in New York, it appears Brett Favre will be out, as quickly as he came in. As many of you rememeber, Favre went through a very long debate with himself, Packers’ coach Mike McCarthy, and Packers’ owner Ted Thompson, less than twelve months ago. Favre thought Minnesota would be a good place to play in then, and now Peter King thinks nothing has changed.

Why does Favre want to be a Viking?
Is having a couple old buddies on the Viking staff really sufficient cause for Favre to want to be a Viking rather than play for someone else? Doesn’t he have any other friends elsewhere? Is he accustomed to basing his decisions on the ‘buddy-system’?
After 16 years of having the Vikings as one of his worst nemeses and bogeyman, why the hell would he suddenly get warm fuzzy feelings about wearing the Dreaded Purple? Doesn’t make sense.
Is Favre motivated by a sudden, huge hate-on for the Pack? If not, do you honestly trust that Favre would play his best for the Vikings, in a town which has spent 16 years loathing him?
All may be moot, according to NFL.com this morning, Favre has put in his retirement papers with the Jets. Unless of course, he changes his mind again.
