No that our season is over, we need to start looking towards what the futur holds for the beloved Purlpe.

1. Will Frazier return as our DC next year, or will he take his excellent coaching, and abilitiy to make halftime and season long adjustments to an other team. And if he leaves, who do we get to replace him.

2. Birk, Boulware, Sharper, Kleinsasser. All are UFA. which ones should we resign?

3. What Free Agents should we target this off-season.

4. What positions (and therefor players), should we target in the draft.

I'd really like Matt Cassell, but...

I fear he might be the 2009 version of Derek Anderson. But even if he is, wouldn’t he still be better than T-Jax or Gus?

I would really like Cassel too. However, it’s not happening. If New England does indeed franchise him, that’s two first rounders Minnesota would have to give up for him.

Unless he’s a guaranteed multi-year starter, that’s a lot to give up. I really don’t think the Vikings would give up so much. One first rounder? Yeah, for sure. Jared Allen sure worked out well. But two? That’s tough.

1. I’m not sure, but I’ve heard some mention our Dline coach (Dunbar?) as a guy who we could promote to the position. Not sure who else may be available yet.

2. I’d like to see Kleinsasser back. Birk’s probably gone. I say bring back Boulware, maybe Sharper, depending on the price (and that’s a big maybe).

3. We should definitely look into QBs, although not that many appeal to me. Also, we need depth in our secondary, especially a nickel back.

4. Offensive line, secondary, possibly defensive line if we can get a steal in the lower rounds.

looooool Let’s get Julius Peppers to join, and stick him on the other side from Allen.

No, really though, I want to see us pick up a veteran FA. Just release Frerotte. If we can get Garcia or Warner, there’s no need to have Frerotte anymore. He’s a good mentor, but keeping him with another vet would mean dropping Booty, and if we spent a pick on him and traded up to get him, we obviously see something we like in the kid, even if it hasn’t shown yet.
