This is really tough sacks were not an official stat until after 1982. We have had a bunch of really good D line players over the years and there is no way to include them all. I am sure I may have missed some (or many). Our D is really good now especially our D line and the game has really changed a lot since the good old days but pick players buy gut feeling not just how they would play today. For instance Allen Page I believe was only about 235 pounds not even a big linebacker by todays standards let alone a DT. Sacks are not the only thing to measure a D lineman by but I could not include all stats so I just put that in for reference.
All in anyone else in your comments and we will see who comes out Al Noga, Doug Martin,Chris Hovan etc..
