Harvin's Status for Sunday Remains Unclear
We've been following Percy Harvin's progress throughout the week, and after sitting out Wednesday's practice before participating in portions of practice on Thursday and Friday, he's officially been listed as "questionable" for Sunday. Percy called himself a "game-time" decision in his comments to the media today, saying he'll test out his injured shoulder prior to the Vikings' meeting with Baltimore and will then determine whether or not he can give it a go.
By the way, in case you were wondering how he's stacking up with other rookies around the league, Harvin is third in the league among rookies in receptions and receiving yards. His kickoff returning would be missed in a big way if he is unable to play against Baltimore, and as the team's leading receiver after five weeks, his absence would put quite a bit of pressure on both Bernard Berrian and Sidney Rice to make up for the absence of part of the receiving trifecta.
Don't expect to see Darius Reynaud -- he's out again with a hamstring injury. For the third consecutive week, Jaymar Johnson will be taking his place as the team's punt returner. Phil Loadholt rounds out the week's injury report -- The Load is listed as questionable, so we'll see if he can make his return or if we get another week of Artis Hicks.

A sore shoulder seems like a tough thing to deal with for a receiver
Maybe Johnson and Lewis can step up.
Maybe it's best to let Harvin sit this week?
VS hurting him more this week, in game that really isn’t all that important anyway. Not that this game isn’t important, but the Ravens don’t even play in the same conference, and the Vikes being 5-1 doesn’t exactly ruin their season.
I think prolonging Harvins injury is more detrimental to the team than allowing him to heal for a week.
I don’t know, just a thought!
He'll play
He played after it happened in last weeks game. No point doing anything physical in practice this week as far as contact or hitting.
Chilli doing his Bellichik impression??
Throwing a wrinkle in the game plan for the Ravens perhaps?? I actually think Jaymar may be a decent “Percy Harvin Lite” option. It sounds like the kid has a great football IQ, and it also sounds like he’s a sure-handed burner with some wiggle… You probably don’t have the versitility out of the backfield that you have with Percy, but I expect both to be on the active roster…
