Around SBN: Knicks Beat Lakers With Familiar Strategy

Congrats From Baltimore Beatdown

To the Vikings and your fans at DN, we Ravens fans salute you fo ryour victory today. You showed us a complete team for three quarters which was still enough to win. Had we played the first three quarters like we did the outcome might have been different, but it was not to be. In fact, if our kicker had the stomach to handle the pressure, it might be using consoling you guys. But,...coulda, shoulda, woulda, doesn't mean anything here.

Good luck to you guys and as much as I rooted against you today, help a brother out and do the same thing to Pittsburgh next week. Take care.

It does make a huge difference

I’d like to see Pittsburgh in your house. Playing at Heinz Field is really tough. Good luck. We’ll be rooting for you!

Thanks man. And do us a favor and put the “beatdown” onto the Bears, Packers, and Lions.

Thanks, Bruce

Your fans are class, and so is Baltimore Beatdown.

And if you wouldn’t mind pimp-slapping the Bears and Packers for us when you get a chance, we’d appreciate it.

the enemy of my enemy is my friend. very, very classy fans you guys got over there and it is VERY much appreciated, at least from this guy! good game!!!!

I piss people off on a fairly regular basis. I cherish my right to speak my mind, whether I sound like an uneducated savage or not. I've never been accused of keeping what I think a secret, nor will I ever. Don't like it? I don't care.

Best fans we've run into so far.

You guys are passionate, knowledgeable, and respectful. Hell of a way to lose a game after the furious comeback the Ravens made, but of course I can’t complain. We’ll do our best to put a hurtin’ on the Steelers next week.

till the middle of the 3rd

I was wondering what the big deal was with Rice and thinking how all the “experts” blew this one by calling for a close game. I’m still not sure what happened after that.

We seem to be a 3 quarter team. And losing Winflield hurt.

by PurpleJesus on Oct 18, 2009 8:37 PM CDT up reply actions

Very much so.

You guys have a good team and will get past your current stretch, and as Ray Lewis says, you play football the way it was meant to be played.

By the way, I’ve been checking in on your blog and I want you to know that this is one non-Ravens fan who nonetheless very clearly remembers what happened with Irsay and the Colts and considers it one of the most shameful episodes in sports history (only the Dodgers leaving Brooklyn really competes).

Would feel honored if we have the chance to meet you again in February.

Thanks Bruce real classy

You and your fellow bloggers on the Beatdown. We’ll try to put the steel boys out for ya. Good luck in the future. And that other LB you have that chased down AP man is he good.

Tavares Gooden is that kid

He is young and actually hasn’t played that well, but he is so fast that there has been talk about moving him to safety!

Also noticed 345 pound DT Haloti Ngata giving chase and staying close. We did not ever quit but couldn’t make the key stops when our offense put us back in the game. Get healthy soon and pass all day in Pittsburgh next week.

we get Winfield back, Did u guys draft him or acquire from a trade because he is a beast..

by midnightwonder on Oct 19, 2009 11:04 AM CDT up reply actions

How, a Tavares that can actually play football?

Imagine that.

(Yes, I’m aware our Tarvaris spells it differently, but just play along for the joke’s sake.)
