A >>>huge<<< stage for Vikings (and Steelers) this weekend.
Take a look at the Fox game broadcast distribution for the early game this weekend, It is pretty much as monocolored as it's been all year:
Fox NFL boracast week 7 early game
If you notice, pretty much the only places the other games will be shown is in a (very core) version of their home market. Every, and I mean EVERY, other market will carry th Vikings - Steelers.
Sadly, being in WIsconsin, I will be one of the few having to go out to watch it :(

Skol Vikings!
Woot Woot!
LOL I hear you...
DAMN you internet for continuously letting me down on GAME days of ALL times….the rest of the week seems to be flawless (not really, but does not matter then, just wait until better)….
THANK Goodness DN and later (better later than never) TYT for filling in the chasms of no info on what the hell is going on, and the ability to see what went on!
Should be one of the best games to date….NYG vs. NO notwithstanding, certainly agree with the distro plan for viewers because of this…Good move FOX!
I would rather be IN the Arena than watching from the stands...That is my life!

i gladly got to watch the vikes game on local tv last week
even though it wouldnt matter because my parents have ordered the sunday ticket for the past 2 or 3 years.
I got lucky two weeks in a row
The falcons played a night game last week, and have a late game this week. Two weeks of vikings without going to the bar!

Seems to me like you got unlucky...
Here in Milwaukee, I love the excuse to go to BW’s and drink beer and make fun of Packer fans.
Fuck tOSU
I don't mind the bar at all
They just screw me on a good screen to watch on sometimes. Also, if the game goes bad I can drink as much as I need to and don’t have to worry about getting home.

+1
Also living in Falcons land. I don’t mind going to the bar if I have to (except for the table of fantasy football people with their laptops), but it’s still a lot easier to watch at home and usually at least two of my sons are watching with me, which makes it a crowd.
We’ll get them the week after again (of course); not sure what happens after that.

Yeah, with you on that
I like watching at home with the kids. That plus I’m turning into an old fart, like Brett Favre not too keen on going out to bars anymore LOL!
I'm getting a little too old for it, but I still like watching at the bar
But this game scares me a bit. My bar has a lot of Steeler-loving regulars (including the owner). When you live in Idaho, you end up with strange combinations of fans…
It's the best matchup of the week!
Everything else is just… eh.

Its a great life in Florida for two straight weeks
We are inundated with Tampa Bay, Miami, and Jacksonville every week. Rarely a Vike game. Vikes for two weeks in a row. This is better than the weather.
I'm going to this game.
And I’m going to be a wreck I think. I really didn’t imagine I’d be going to this game with the Vikes undefeated and the Steelers actually being a beatable team. I am so pumped! I know this is pretty unrelated to it being on TV, but I had to mention it.
Good On You
Let us know how the atmosphere/game was please afterwords….We (I) can live this game then vicariously through your experiences…..A “Viking in the den of the foe” so to speak…Cool! As usual, I will have to bear with all the normal BS from here (afar) sigh…SKOL!

I certainly will
I’m going with 3 (yes, 3) Steelers fans, so that part should be fun! I feel like I’m going to have a target on my back since we’re 6-0. I’m rocking my Peterson Jersey rather than my Favre jersey because Peterson is respected among all football fans, whereas Favre unfortunately is not. This is more of a favor for my wife since she thinks if I wear my Favre jersey, I may get killed :-)
I have a feeling there will be plenty of experiences to tell you about, so again, I’ll be sure to do so!
Yeah, looking forward to your account too
Take your time writing it up though, to do it right. I just realized that I’m going to be tied up til about 1 sunday for a church thing, so I would miss half the game (especially having to go to bar to catch it). So … I’m thinking it will have to be TYT for me, and I will have to go into self-imposed blackout (DN included) until someone gets the cap up on TYT & I get it downloaded and time to watch it. So … if you don’t get your account up til Tues, fine with me :0
Have a good time — eating my heart out.
Same here!
1PM E games start at 10am here – I’m tied up with religion until after 12…
Thank God for DVR… but I’m a sucker for an instant update… not sure I can black myself out.
GO VIKES!!

Lol
Leave Church and head straight to the bar! Do it
The bar with your team playing is church.
You sure Ike isn’t reacquainting himself with his fingers, he certainly doesn’t use them for catching. - Brian (DaBolts) on "Face Me Ike"
Did that last week...
For my birthday!
My beer is ready for this Sunday and by the time I get home it will be late enough to crack one open…

Alright dude
The Vike are represented loud and clear. I will be cheering with you man. If i were you i don’t think i could sleep. Have a good time. GO VIKES
I'm already getting the jitters about this one
It’s like I’m obsessed or something. I can’t get football off of my mind.
I'm gonna burn flesh on the grill and then go total pagan in my allegience to the Vikes
I got my grill course all planned out, and nothing short of death himself will keep me from watching my Vikes Rape that wimp Ben Rottenburger. Death to the Pittsburg weasle.
Fanatic, and Dogmatic,
hell, they just don't mix!
I pray that we burn the steelers a new one
I’m making a ritual of Sunday, and hope the steelers get burned by the Purple and Gold, dream, and it will come true!

Pray For It Also!
I Have a feeling the Vikings Will Finally Show Us What they are really about Sunday…

Playing the Champs
If you want to be the Champ you have to beat the Champ. Going into the burg and winning is the ultimate test. If the Vikes can’t get fired up for this one somethings wrong.
What are the grey areas
near Kanasas City and in Southern Illinois? Do they not get any football?
I used to live in St Louis so let me answer
Rams have deal (somehow) that local TV stations (in this case Fox, channel 2) do not show any other football games at the same time Rams play. they are hosting the Colts at noon Sunday, I’m guessing on CBS? Used to alwasy piss me off when I lived there, the other stations would literally show informercials for three hours instead of picking up the network NFL feed.
I’m guessing it’s a Missouri legislature thing, probably passed to help lure the Rams from LA, so that’s why it applies to KC too (don’t know if everyone knows this, but bulk of KC metro area actually lives in Missouri, not Kansas). My neighbor down there was a TV anchor and she explained ti to me once, but I’ve forgotten the details.
Finally get to see a game
While I have seen parts of most of them through streams, finally get to see one without having to wait for someone to find a good stream. Also, can keep DN open and not have to switch back and forth. Looking for a great game.
