Ok people lets all be realistic here...I really doubt that brett favre will be back for another season after this one. This means that we'll have to invest an a future qb soon. Well after reading a few of your comments week in and week out i've realized how much of you want an elite college quarter back like sam bradford to take over. At the time it seemed pretty hard to believe somebody like sam bradford would fall into our lap in the draft with hopefully our late pick...Well that was before the college season started and now its a new reason to believe.
This season sam bradford came in as one of the best qb's in college and was a sure top draft pick. That was until the 1st play of the season when sam bradford got hurt and injured his shoulder. After he missed the first couple games of the season his stock had to fall atleast 5 to 10 picks in the draft. He made his next start 4 weeks later and played a full game. It seemed as though his stock was going to rise again. Then he played Texas. Just like his first game of the season he got hurt again on the first play. Which could mean that his stock has fell even more especially after he has decided to have season ending surgery http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/news/story?id=4583332. Now the dream of picking up an elite qb is becoming even realer.
I believe if Bradfords stock has really fallen to maybe the 10th to 20th pick then a few trades here and there maybe our 1st 2nd and Sage Rosenfels and another player that could fill a whole for the team that we're trading with could do it. basically i'm saying do whatever we can to trade into the middle round for bradford if he'll be there.
I'm not sure about it but i'll be the first to admit my lack of experience with the business(17 years old) and i dont know how everything will work it so maybe some of yall could tell me what you think about it....enlighten me
