Well, 6-1

This was a badly called game, no doubt about it, but at least it was the frikken Steelers who gave us our first loss, and not some joke like Green Bay. I watched the entire game, and I saw the officials steal our win, but you know, it kinda lets the pressure off. Okay, we lost, but now that is over, we are still gonna roll up some big numbers next week when we welcome the Packers to the Dome for the first Farve in Purple game vs Them. But the first posts were right, the talking heads kinda down played the role of the horrible calls had on the whole game. I just know, and I might take flack for it, but when I saw the Viking hit the ref in the fourth quarter, I was almost as jazzed as when Farve showed us his Cannon. No. 4 is ours, all that hater bull gets thrown under the bus, when we are shown the power he still has, and a lot of touch and grace in his ball control. Sure, people will focus on the strip, but watching the WHOLE game, puts those plays in context. Not to mention, they were THE STEELERS! Next week all the fantasy geeks will get their play blown up when we face our mortal enemies Green Bay. I hate to hear all that crap about someones "Fantasy Game" getting ruined. Um...I think that is why it is called "FANTASY!" Most of our fantasies stay in our heads, and we are not encouraged to dump them into other people's laps. It is a healthy thing, because some of us, well, we are not in prison because we keep our fantasies as just that, not reality. Anyways, I got to watch our beloved Vikings play a full game, and I'm drunk and happy. Happy because we lost? NO! Happy because we didn't lose to those frikken Cheeseheads!!!!!!! Think about that one, okay? Later, and all the love for our Team! Lee Carter

We have to play at their place this time!

I'll take 6-1

The worst we can be is 6-2 at the bye week. Honestly, I don’t think anybody thought the Vikes would be 6-1 right now….more like 4-3ish.

I look at it this way

It took a blown call, a fumble return for a touchdown, and a fluky tipped pass by Chester Taylor for the Vikings to lose a game on the road at the defender super bowl champions’ home field. The majority of the time those plays work out the other way and the Vikings win that game. I know that if other teams have to rely on Chester Taylor missing another pass like that to beat the Vikings I’ll take it.

There were a lot of positives out of this game. The Vikings secondary didn’t get torched by the 2nd most prolific passing offense in the NFL. They held the Steelers offense to 13 points. Sydney Rice and Percy Harvin are clearly legit at this point. And Adrian Peterson is still as big of a beast as he has ever been.

The Vikings will by fine.

Ref gets planted

is it me or did it look like the ref was slowing down to possibly slow Harvin down after he looked back and saw that Harvin cut back across the field, but he didn’t see the blocker there behind him.

It was not the refs fault we loss

This loss goes on the shoulders of the great play calling of Chilly .. That is if you call what he does play calling .. At the point in the game when the refs stole the touchdown don’t get me wrong they did steal the touchdown but we should have never been in that situtation… if you reacall we were deep in the redzone within the 5yard line and the idiot called 3 pass plays and we ended up with 3 point instead of the lead .. As i recall we have the best running back and leading rusher in the NFL and you call pass plays please they dont even do that in pop warner .. Do you think Tomlin would have called the same plays ??.. and all he has is Mendenhall who is no where near as good a running back as AP… As i said Brad Childress Loss this game .. And on one else .. Period ..

Isn't it the teams fault for not executing two run plays from the 1

I know we could have run two more times but Farve wasn’t knocked down and had open receivers. Would you really be pissed at Chilly if the throw had been completed.
