Just a quick reminder
Yes, it's rivalry week, and yes, the Vikings do not like the Packers and the same thing goes for most of their fans and vice versa. That said, lemme lay down a few rules of conduct since we've already got trolls making insulting posts on the DN.
1) Be Excellent to Each Other. And if you can't do that, at least be tolerant. That means no Vi-Queens and no Fudge Packers. Saying these things does not make you funny, it does not show your team is better, and it is certainly not original. Saying these things makes the conversation a waste of good people's time.
2) Alt-trolling makes you look like a jackass. Oddly enough, whenever you create a new screen name for the sole purpose of trolling, your IP address does not change. And, what a surprise, those things can be cross-referenced to your main account! Isn't technology awesome!
3) Keep it clean. Keep the foul language down, along with the constant use of capital letters and punctuation. Phrases like:
FARVE IS A TRAITOR AND WE WILL NEVER SUPPORT HIM AGAIN!!!!11!!!!!
and
THE PACKERS O-LINE SUCKS!!!!!!!111!!!!!
Can be said just as easily in lower case. And anything past one exclamation point is superfluous.
By following these simple rules, you'll make it so your fellow fans aren't embarrassed in your presence, and your admins won't want to rage quit their jobs. Please do your part in making sure this week goes as smoothly as possible.
Also,
Go Vikes!

hahaha
What we’re seeing right now is the 1st possible waive of trolls. We just got our 1st loss of the year, and that is the perfect opportunity for trolls to make their noise.

While I appreciate your enthusiasm...
This will by no means stop what’s about to transpire. I really do like the fact that you posted this, but a jackass is a jackass, and reading a well thought out argument as to why being a jackass is dumb is not going to change said jackass’ perception of his jackassed self. He or she will continue in his or her jackassery for all times, no matter the anti-jackassery warnings.
Also: Jackass.
That is all.

No. We're smaller and afraid of the dark.

Man...
It’s a good thing I keep my WoW account on my own credit card.
When you go to somebody's house, you don't crap on their floor. Being a fan of one team does NOT give you license to be a dick to fans of another.
Corollary: When people are visiting your house and behaving themselves, them being a fan of a different team is NOT a reason for you to piss in their beer.

When Favre was with the Packers
I used to joke about how you could circumsize any ref in the NFL. By kicking Favre in the chin!
I have to change that to AR now though

I see they let Chmura out....
Anybody know what Mr. Prom Night is up to these days?
by CakeEater on Oct 28, 2009 3:24 PM CDT reply actions 0 recs
They didn't have to let him out. He was acquitted.
I personally thought he was guilty as hell, but the people that counted disagreed. He spent a few years carrying a brief case for his defense attorney on that case. Rumor was that he was hired as a “reasearch assistant” of some sort and more or less got paid just for hanging around and reminding people of the time the lawyer got him off. He talked about going to law school, but I don’t think he ever did. Last I heard he had a couple of radio gigs too. I know he had a Saturday radio show on a Milwaukee station for a while.
Every once in a while he drops a not so nice quote on Favre, partly, according to rumor, because Favre, once a close friend, dropped him like a hot rock when the charges were filed. Chmura also apparently said some not so kind things about Holmgren in a new book the Packers beat writer (Bob McGinn) has coming out. Probably the best illustration of Chmura’s character is that in 97 he refused to go to the White House with the Packers because he didn’t respect Clinton after the Monica Lewinsky scandal and couldn’t bring himself to shake Bubba’s hand. Three years later he was drunk at a post-prom party with a bunch of teenage girls. Pot…. kettle….

Hello, kettle? Can you hear me now? Oh, there you are!
Hey, buddy, just wanted to let you know, you’re black!!!! Love that! Like the 320lb plus guy i work with calling me fat at 250lb. What a tubby asshole!
I piss people off on a fairly regular basis. I cherish my right to speak my mind, whether I sound like an uneducated savage or not. I've never been accused of keeping what I think a secret, nor will I ever. Don't like it? I don't care.

Never thought I'd see the day
when Viking fans were forced to defend Brett Favre’s honor from Packer fans taking shots at him.
Just when you think you’ve seen it all, eh?
This is gonna be a good one, fellas.

Favorite quote of the week.
Packers kicked Favre out of Green Bay because he wouldn’t change his name to “Brat” Favre.
Do you think they know bratwurst is not its own food group?

The big question is whether the racing sausage at the Brewers games named Brett Wurst will have a name change.
